novak first up... then possibly melzer (uh oh)...then coria (double uh oh...) then quarters...with...GUGA!!!!!!!!
and nicki will get a heart attack. ;D
thing is...will coria play? he withdrew this week in toronto cos of a banged up shoulder........
marat is 1-1 against novak. the last time they played was 1999 (wow! that's REALLY REALLY LONG AGO, why doesn't this happen with santoro? geesh!)
and novak won that one...it was at the USO...in the 2nd round.
in terms of this year... they're both pretty evenly matched in terms of matches won'loss height wise they're pretty even as well so.........
i think marat ought to take it. (cos i'm a marat fan ;D) but then again...BECAUSE it's marat........ i'm now not too sure....

So he's playing Novak Aug. 2? either august 2nd or august 3rd. depending on which half of the draw they decide to start with. QUESTION FOR NICKI! is cincinnati in the same time zone as you? now that the tour's gone to america, i'm on the....time relative to IOWA mode. u're still 13 ahead of me right? i'm too lazy to go look at numbers on the time zone website...hehe... |

CORRECTION TO MY HEAD-TO-HEAD DATA:
marat actually LEADS novak 2-1 the last time they played was earlier this year at the Hopman Cup. yeah... my mistake sorry, must remember never to trust the ATP site for head-to-heads cos they don't cover everything.

Yeah, talking about luck...........  I'm gonna take up the same old Marat song (about luck I mean) that Vass hates so much! Novak is not an easy opponent, d****. And with Marat you can NEVER be sure how he is on the day. I just hope and pray! |
