Ok, I think I'm not gonna make comments about the Ferrero-Marat problem, They'll work that out. I just think Marat keeps losing and that kicks his ass and doesn't aloud him to won more matches, it's bad but I hope he'll be fine fo RG

Poor marat, of course i'm with him. But i just want to say that, if i were a fan of JCF, there're enough reasons for me to blame marat, just as now most of us feel that JCF really let us down. i laughed at it too... It seems that the match is still high quality despite of the incident and it really makes me feel much better. I'd rather he lost in such way than he spoilt his match through dozens of UEs. if he said he played well and was in good shape, ok, i believe it and feel really cheerful about it, no matter he wins or loses. and last night (or this dawn?) i said i was calm about the result. of course i was lying. i hardly slept after switching off the computer. but at this moment, after reading all the stuff everyone posted, i felt much more relieved and suddenly become deadly sleepy... Thank you, everybody. i love you all

yes, i do hope they work it out...and soon...11 years of friendship is really precious...it would be awful if it all ends because of this incidence. and thanks teresa, for your comment on my post

i don't they will 'break up' because of this little incident. It's really nothing important compared with the 11-year relationship. both marat and jcf are not that childish.

Thank you, annie for your report of the match. Nice to know your point of view, too on the lighter side, i thought it was funny ( because i still had hope he can win it) when he called the ump down to check...and he kinda made this gesture like shooting a basketball...and the argument where he got up the ladder..the ump said "i don't understand what you're saying Marat" so Marat got up so the ump can hear him better.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm not posting often but I thought I would share that... I couldn't watch the match as french tv prefers to show Gasquet rather than ferrero vs. Marat... They showed it re live but I didn't want to see Marat lose so I didn't watch it. Yet I watched the sports news and there, they blamed Marat for everything, saying that everybody knew the ball was out except him, that's why he continued playing, so for them Marat complaining to the chair umpire, was completly stupid and useless, and it's the reason why he lost. I saw the point on tv, and I don't think I heard any call... and I don't know the chair umpire should said something, that guy was useless... I'm not trying to say who was right, who wasn't... But if what Marat said about JCF's behaviour (+coach's behaviour) is true (but why would Peter lie about JCF's caoch going to the supervisor etc... : then I think it's very pityfull but well... To see it in a more positive side, Marat will have good reasons to kick his ass next time they face each other ;D

yeah it surprised me greatly that match.ferrero played well in the first set, but just seemed to lose control for no apparent reason.

this is from men's tennis forum, from some one who did watch the match: I saw it too, but on JC's forum... so I don't think this story is very important! Everybody knows how Marat can be expressive when he's angry! I really don't know who's right or wrong! And I don't want to judge anybody, especially if I didn't see the match! And, I know I don't come often on this forum, but I like it very much ;-)

I think we should not make such a big thing with that Marat-Ferrero problem. I didn´t see the match, so I don´t know, but I believe the ump was not in control of the match. He cannot overrule a serve after the point has been played. I think Marat was a bit frustrated that he lost his serve before, so I can understand his reaction. Probably he should have won the match coz he was playing great, and thats the good thing about it. Actually he was in good form, so we can be positive for RG. He just needs a bit more confidence and a good draw (not Ferrero in the second round ) .
