Marat is not playing in Rotterdam. I hoped he would. He's played there every time, except last year. His ranking was to low and there were no wildcards left.
He said in the interview at the aus open that he is taking a few weeks of after australia, because the season last year was so long. That's probably why he is playing Dubai. Normally there's also davis cup in early february, but that is in march now, so he get sthe chance to ahev time of as well. Lets hope he will be there next year. Krajicek really wants to have him in teh tournamnet. Marat will come to holland in june to play Rosmalen.

I suggest you get onto the website "theguy from russia.com" which lists all the tournaments Marat is planning to play this year. He's also planning to play Davis Cup, bless his heart, since there aren't that many other good Russian male players out there at the moment and I'm sure Russia would rely upon Marat to carry them through.

That schedule posted on the home site is a tentative schedule that he drew up for the year.
But it is fairly accurate as i keep in touch with the tournament directors frequently about Marat's participation and so is fairly correct.
As for the gerry webber open i am 50-50 on that as i recieved an e-mail in german and when i translated it i had no idea so can i get some help plz.
Guten Morgen,

I suggest you get onto the website "theguy from russia.com" which lists all the tournaments Marat is planning to play this year. That list is just a best guess and my not be 100% accurate. Marat hasn't ever released an official schedule so no one ever really knows what he will do for sure. Entry lists are best way to find out if Marat is playing a tourney and even those can be wrong
