Which match was the best one of the year? And the worst? And the one that made you laugh the most? (at least I do laugh at matches... don't you?)

Hi, nice to see you here again Anuschka! 1. Hard to say - any of the finals Fed played and won actually, all awesome, not a final lost But Wimby final maybe the most memorable, the 1st set vs Hewitt at the USO final was just soooo breathtaking... the best from Marat - Marat vs Andy, Marat vs Andre at the AO, Marat vs Andre in Madrid - top quality from both 2. The worst - do we need to get into Marat's dismal losses? Melzer in Hamburg, Tursunov at Wimby, Enquist at USO .... Plus my awful tennis night lately - from Paris TMS - losers like PHM and Ancic losing one after another the 1st night to Malisse and Tsonga 67.19.129.138/mtf/images/smilies/firey.gif[/img] - I was dead after that. Moya's chokes like to Massu in Athens and to otherwise lovely Ollie Rochus at the USO in a 5-setter that got me *grrrrrrrrr* OK, enough of Moya chokes here. When Marat & Moya are bad they are BAD!! This all wasn't the worst tennis quality-wise for sure, I don't watch dead boring 1st rd matches Let's say these were some of the bad chokes of my faves. 3. Funny? I do laugh, sure... Marat at RG vs Mantilla -laughing and angry at the same time... And this flower-smelling... vs Agassi in Madrid. ;D BTW, help needed people, any pics of the incident w the flowers? I thought I had a pic but ... No on getty, and I can't see the pic Anita posted here in Madrid thread.

the best match of the year?
alright... Marat - Agassi at AO and Madrid certainly are up there. Marat - Fed in Houston was great I thought. Roddick - Agassi in cincy was great tennis, esp. from Agassi.
worst one... Iout of the ones I saw I have to say Marat - Roddick at Indian wells, 2nd round. No offense to Marat but he tanked in the second set...
Enqvist match was terrible at Us Open.. and of course that Sopot tournament was a big mistake..(basically his whole summer was terribble....)
the funniest?
you know any Marat's match is very intertaining...

Best Match for me was Marat Safin Vs Andy Roddick.. Not involving Marat was Gaudio Vs Coria at RG.
Worst Match D tursanov Vs Marat At wimbledon. Not involving Marat Roddick Vs Federer at Bangkok.
Funniest has to be against Felix Mantilla at RG.

the best? well, the win against federer in the ao has to be up there now, cos (and lets be honest) who actually believed that federer was beatable? but then again the win aganst lleyton in the final was an enormous victory because he was the fav and he was in a final so he had to overcome pressure from himslef and everyone else - and the crowd was against him. i haven't seen him come back from playing that nervously and frankly, badly, to win -yet this time he did it and won the silverware. that has to be enormous for his confidence and to get many many monkeys off his back...
funniest? well i saw him hitting up once and he kept hitting them out and he was so frustrated but joking a lot and laughing a lot, so it was very lighthearted.
i remember some awful losses - but i am wiping them from my memory...!
