Damita you lucky girl. For the Bercy match, I'm not so worried about Hewitt or Moya given Marat plays 'normal'. But I'm a little bit worried about Lju as Marat has a habit to lose to lower ranking big server. yeah me too, same thought. But if any of the best players is dangerous in his part of the draw i think it's Hewitt. i'm not that worried about Moya and Gaudio... And as Teresa said, Roddick, Agassi, Henman, Nalby and other in form players (like Haas) are in the other. IMHO Marat's part of the draw is less tough... well, i hope LOL Jiat! BRILLIANT, sorry i made a mistake ;D Kristin>> yes i'll go to bercy, for the semifinals. You'll be there almost all week lucky girl! And i don't think Marat will play on tuesday, don't worry

from Tennis-X:
Carlos Moya has qualified as the fifth player for the Masters Cup, leaving three open spots, with Guillermo Coria, Marat Safin, Tim Henman, Andre Agassi and David Nalbandian in contention. Moya clinched a spot when Agassi and Nalbandian were drawn in the same half yesterday for the Masters Series-Paris. Safin will qualify of he reaches the round of 16 in Paris, while Henman will qualify if he reaches the quarters. Already qualified are Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt and Gaston Gaudio...
so it's what ppl on mtf said: if he wins his first match he'll go to Houston

I have checked ATP site and found that Marat and Ljubicic head to head record is 1:2 (with a lot of tiebreaks in each match).

I have checked ATP site and found that Marat and Ljubicic head to head record is 1:2 (with a lot of tiebreaks in each match). yeah... but that was in 2000 and 2001... btw.. he won 5 of the 8 tiebreaks they had in 3 matches funny fact... its gonna be the fifth time Ljubicic and Clement are gonna play against each other THIS year!!! Anywayz.. i hope marat gets himself together.. and stays a lil bit calmish.. he knows he can do it.. Cmon then boy, show us what you got!!!

Hi Caroline and Damita thanks for all the info and the updates on the run for Houston
Caroline>>>
BTW do you know what their head to head is? Ljubicic/Clement Also saw that Clement and Llodra won the St.Petersburg doubles.
Caroline could not agree with you more, its just so much pressure knowing that he has to, has to get pass the round of 16 to make it to Houston. I don't think I can follow the match, it will be to nerve wracking for me.
Marat is in Paria so hopefully they have been practiscing lots.
Maria<< hope your class/session goes quickly and you get to see the match or at least follow the SB
The good news to day is that Agassi got beaten in the finals by Johansoon and Novak is about to beat Nalbandian.
Congrats Youzhny on winning the St.Petersburg Open.

I'm very scared of Ovan. It was against him that Marat played a match with most tie breaks: 4. Marat hasn't played more tie breaks in one match with anybosy else, in his life.

I hope Marat can go far if he gets himself together. He loves playing in Paris plus both Agassi and Nalby lost their finals and will be tired so no huge pressure from that side but that doesn't mean Marat can get to the court without his head! Ljubi and Clement shouldn't be the freshest either BTW. SO DAVAI MARAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
