Marat's arrived in Bangkok with Igor Andreev. Their arrival was shown on local TV and Jasmine (who's going to the tournament this week!) has sent me some screen caps which you can see here: www.theguyfromrussia.com/currentphotos..htm He's still not shaved  And that FBI t-shirt was being worn by Amit back in 2002....I've seen Denis in a similar one too! Must be an inside joke or something... Jasmine says she'll try and give us some reports and photos and maybe even some live reporting too, if she can find a way of sms-ing it to a friend who can put it on the net. Dunno if that will happen, but it would be nice, so thanks Jasmine! |

Safin is here at the tournament. He is really cute and looks all friendly and down to earth. Did not get to talk to him but looking forward to the chance!!! Will update the news here if there is any. :-)

just went looking at the main draw .It seems to be a good one , i guess Marat can take it to the semi's .Of course I'd prefer to see him win the tournament . What do u guys think? |

here's what emilita on mtf has to say....
his guys....i'm in bangkok...saw marat at breakfast this morning...spoke briefly to him...he was very sweet...and he's got rid of the beard which is great hahaha...he's playing doubles tomorrow evening with Söderling...hope he does well!
