Yaaaaaay!!!! What a good news today!!!!! And I'm not worried about Kevin Kim coz the fact that he beat JC means nothing as Ferrero plays bad recently.

There's another article which talked about what players did in the rainy day, and I just translated the part of Marat. Maybe it can explain the pic that Magda sent. ;D The source from: sports.sina.com.cn/s/2004-09-15/1246367300s.shtmlWhat did Marat do in rainy day? ¡ª¡ªHe read for relax. Compared with young Chinese players, the way of pastime of Marat and Srichaphan weren't more mature than that. (Last paragraph the article said: Many Chinese players just chatted or played cards for pastime.) Because these stars always met each other in all kinds of tournaments, they became good friends earlier. Srichaphan's father liked Marat very much obviously. They had a short talk, and then Father left his son Srichaphan aside actually and found a seat beside Marat. They asked for two cups of coffee and had a chat with each other. However, the rest of players felt hopeless when they looked at the weather that didn't have any signs to be sunny outside. So they asked waiter for cards. Srichaphan who was left behind by his father stood behind them and watched them playing. Sometimes he helped making stratagems warmly for players while he was watching. After chatted with Srichaphan's father, Marat had a short rest leisurely with his right leg raised on a chair. Soon after he took out a thick book from his pack and the book looked very fresh. Marat started to read from the very first page. He was very concentrated and very quiet totally, which made others who wanted to be signed didn't have a heart to disturb him. Until told that the match had been cancelled, Marat left the dining table that he had sat beside all the afternoon.

I'd say that this wasn't a bad performance by Marat today. But who knows what's going to happen in the next match... I think that Marat will win it, and I hope that he wouldn't need three sets.
PS: I just hate Marat in white.

By the way, does anyone else have trouble entering this video site? I don't have troubles with entering the site, but I do have problems with watching the video (and the previous ones that you guys posted), so I kind of gave up watching

found a liddle article abt marat. vass told me not to waste my time and just translate the interesting bits, so i'll do just that.
interesting bits: marat says it's still too early to say if he'll win this week. ...to borrow a phrase...wokeej....it's already, thursday so i'm assuming he's talking nonsense. ;D
interesting bit 2: marat was asked to compare the russian gals and guys. he admits that the gals are currently more dominating and in the limelight. but he feels that the guys too, HAVE AMBITION.
that's all.
oh. and stats from the bogomolov jr match. apparently, marat had 10 aces and 87% first serve. vass thinks he must've been serving at 170kmph.
