Found this article about Dinara's loss from Lawntennisnews:
Clijsters defeats Safina to advance to the Diamond Games semifinal Written by Etienne Stekelenburg Friday, 17 February 2006 (Antwerp) Kim Clijsters defeated Dinara Safina for a place in the semifinal on Saturday at the Proximus Diamond Games in Antwerp, Belgium. Clijsters had to fight a tough battle to overcome Marat Safin’s younger sister Dinara. The Belgian No. 1 ,however, won in straight sets, 7-6 (1) and 6-4. Clijsters will meet Russian Elena Dementieva or Lucky Loser Eleni Daniilidou of Greece.
In the first set Clijsters started out very well and took a 3-1 lead after she broke Safina in the second game. The Russian did fight back and took away the service game from Clijsters in the fifth game.
At 4-all in game, Safina again saw a chance to force a break, but Clijsters took the re-break for 5-all.
In the following tie break Clijsters was the most powerful and consistent player. Clijsters making good use of Safina's errors and hitting two winners herself won all ther services but one.
In the second set Safina’s game became even more erratic after she questioned some of the decisions made by line judges. She started to talk herself out of the match, losing her focus on the crucial points.
Up until 3-all, both players were equal to each other, but when Clijsters broke for 4-3, and served for 5-3 on her own service game, the match was as good as over.
Safina held her service for 5-4, but she had to save two matchpoints to stay in the match. One match point was whipped away with an ace, the game point was also hit with an ace after she had hit a winner for advantage.
Clijsters served out for the match and took the first opportunity on 40-0 to take the game, the set and the match, 7-6 (1), 6-4.

UDACHI DINA
Doubles title for Safina and Srebotnik 19-02-2006 In the doubles, the Proximus Diamond Games title was for the Russian Dinara Safina and her Slovenian partner Katarina Srebotnik.
The title in the doubles was for the Russian Dinara Safina and her Slovenian partner Katarina Srebotnik.
Dinara Safina and Katarina Srebotnik let their opponents no chance. The Dutch Michaella Krajicek and the French Stephanie Foretz, who otherwise have performed well throughout the tournament, lost with twice 6-1.
Last year Safina lost the final alongside the Spanish Anabel Medina Garrigues.
