But if you announced that you were going out with this girl the people would know that whatever the papparazzi say will be a load of lies.

Guga has had a girlfriend for a while. Leticia. I know that at the beginning of 2001 he did not have a girlfriend, but they have been together for quite a while. What Guga does is his private life. Would it make any difference if he did have a girlfriend? About the injury: he recently had another surgery on his hip and is currently recooperating, he should be ready for Roland Garros

Too bad that Guga meet Mario in the first round. Even I like Mario but I love Guga much more. Guga lost in the 1st round of the French. From reports they say that there were two Gugas out there, Guga who was making a ton of atrocious unforced errors, and the Guga of old, the one we all know and love. The 1st, 2nd, and 4th set were all the bad Guga, the third was where his old brilliance was back. Here's an article from the Malaysia Star: You haven't seen the last of me, says Kuerten. TRIPLE French Open winner Gustavo Kuerten plans to return to Roland Garros in 2006 and wipe out the misery of his first round defeat on Tuesday, his worst performance here in 10 years. Still recovering from the second of two hip operations which kept him off the tour for seven months, and which sent his world ranking plummeting to 97, the 28-year-old Brazilian was a pale shadow of his former self as he slumped to a 6-3, 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 defeat to Spain's David Sanchez. It was his earliest loss since 1996 when he also exited at the first round stage on his debut. "I hope to play three, four or even five more French Opens," said Kuerten who has now won just two matches in six tournaments since his return in April. "I feel like I have the capacity and the feeling to play well again and be strong as before, I have to make sure I can do all I can and see if I become a great player once again." Kuerten was one of three former champions to suffer a first round exit on Tuesday joining Andre Agassi, the 1999 winner and 2002 victor Albert Costa on the scrapheap. Despite his optimism, he admitted that it could take up to 18 months to recover his old powers. Despite rallying in the third set out on Court Two, Kuerten struggled to make any impression on his gritty Spanish opponent and sent down an embarrassing 83 unforced errors in his 2hr 4min defeat. "The problem is not with my mind," said the Brazilian, the champion in 1997, 2000 and 2001. "I need to work to get stronger in my legs. I feel I want to be successful again but we are all getting older. It's sad to lose especially here but I feel like I want to try and be successful here once again." Glad that he's got a plan, and that he's got the desire to work for it. Best wishes Guga!

Me too. Thank you for the pics. Unluckily, I didn't see Guga on TV during RG. Heard that he and his GF spent more than a week in Paris. (My aunt saw them attended (I think) the Argentines' match in QF) Glad to know that Guga still had some good time at RG. ;D
