that was a dramatic end of the match opposing nole to rafa! goodness! the poor nole sobbed before he could reach the court exit! really sad for him, I really think he deserved a bit more to win today! just btw brackets: rafa was really close to lose today again! nI'm kinda happy to know today that the competition could again become open like in Marat, Lleyton and Juanqui's glory days! I've never liked total supremacy!

at least Bob & Mike have a chance to get bronze tomorrow ... figure they'll have the edge for that and Fed-Stan will have the edge for gold given the other pairs' 19-17 fatigue factor this picture makes me giggle (and is in desperate need of a funny caption) ;D

If I ever collapse at Wimbles, NEVER EVER let Maestro perform CPR on me! LMAO. What were that pair on? So happy that they got the gold - shed a tear when the Swiss national anthem was played. Maestro choking always sets me off ... Have to say, they make a lovely couple. For a minute, I thought Mirka was getting dumped! LMAO. Well done boys, excellent win. But lay off the extensive cuddling ... ;D You looked too cute together. ;D I really wish the top guys played more doubles. Maestro and the Big Yin at the US Open ... if only.

Congrats to the Russian ladies ... and to RAFA!!! As if RG, Wimby and #1 weren't enough, he also captures Olympic GOLD in his stellar 2008 seson!! .... and thank god for online video because apparently my late night / early morning Olympic watching and long days at work finally caught up with me ... and I missed EVERYTHING this morning -- I can. not. believe. I did that. *sigh*
