Ooh well, I just came home from university - seeing all these results is a kind of shock for me! Maria, Kim and David out! federer-baghdatis final who was expecting that? or maybe kiefer- baghdatis final . No I don´t really think so. Weird AO this year

poor David, it was so close but think he ran out of gas in the 5th a little bit more than marcos. eurosport germany co-commentator was runnig down into the looker room when the rain starts. He told when he came back that marcos has getting a massage for his legs in one looker room. At the other room david was sitting there very quite and in front of him his coach. He was speaking like a devil, running with lots of geture , but David was very far away.... anyway a tough match and I am hoping for kiwi for tomorrow

Not trying to make excuses, but.... From early in the second set, Nalbandian struggled with a rib injury that seemed to take some of the power off his serve - power that was vital to suppress the tenacious Cypriot who likes to step inside the baseline and swing lustily. Nalbandian's struggle had seemed to coincide with a gradual shift in the match - although there was to be yet another dramatic intervention, another change of momentum. The ear-splitting noise from the fireworks began just after he came back from 1-5 down to level the second set at 5-5. Seemingly distracted, rather than pressing his advantage, the Cypriot conceded the set - and seemingly an invulnerable two-set advantage - to Nalbandian. linkIt was said during the match in ESPN Latin America... Anyway, it´s not an excuse for all his performance during the match...

Comments about today My gut feeling that it's Baghdatis fate to win this tournament. It will be an amazing story or he will get humiliated in the final by Roger Federer (if he can get past Kiefer) So sorry for Kimmy but she will be no1 at end of tournament so all is well Henin will be hard to stop but Mauresmo can do it. Maria Sharapova draws first blood by taking the opening set against Justine Henin-Hardenne in the women's semi-finals But the Belgian former champion hits back to take the second before edging a tense decider to reach the final Kim Clijsters' injuries appear to be catching up with her during her semi-final against Amelie Mauresmo Clijsters' retirement leaves Mauresmo celebrating her first Grand Slam final appearance since the 1999 Australian Open
