Annie and I decided it's time to honor the guys who keep the matches in order - the umpires! We were in the lucky position to meet two of the guys, Carlos Ramos and Mohamed Lahyani, in Moscow. Especially Mohamed (who - according to lena - is a huge womanizer  ) seems to be officialy on drugs during his matches - his good mood is impossible to beat!!! Watching him is nearly as much fun as watching the players (as long as they aren't named Marat Safin, of course, LMAO ;D). Carlos seems to be the more sophisticated guy. Both are very accessible and they were happy that we showed interest in them since they are usually overshadowed by the big names on the court. I don't know about this "womanizer" thing, but "Mr. Mo" does have a very happy face in every match...
I also like Lars and Norm Christ (don't know if wrote right), even though he seems to be very serious.

I remember Marat was arguing with Carlos Ramos at the AO 05 furiously in Spanish with his hand gestures (can u imagine that????SWOOOOON!!)

I remember Marat was arguing with Carlos Ramos at the AO 05 furiously in Spanish with his hand gestures (can u imagine that????SWOOOOON!!) uh huh totally rmbr that. i love the way he speaks spanish. i have a video of it  hottt! |

Don't know whether you all noticed, but during the KC final Mo seemed to announce games won by Marat much more enthusiastically than games won by Kolya ;D ;D Annie, would you agree, you heard it first-hand? I guess he likes the big guy as much as we do  |

Yesterday I turned on the TV and saw Henman/Verdaso and suddenly I hear a familiar "Forty fifteeeeeeeeeen", I just couldn't help grinning ;D ;D ;D He is the one and only, our Mr. Mo ;D ;D ;D
