Marat probably coasted through the match, not really playing with that fire.

According to the OS, Marat lost 46 16 to Haase....... no comment. It's (Tommy) Haas I think, not (Robin) Haase....I don't think a rookie like Haase would get to play in such a posh event

he lost 6-4, 6-7, 7-10 but i'm pretty impressed. He won the first set and was leading in the second set 5-4, before he had one of those Marat "brain farts" and lost serve and the third set went to 10-7. pretty impressive. just think. Gasquet is a top 10 player and reached the wimbledon semifinal last year and Marat almost had him beat. he was serving for the match. this is good news in a way despite the loss

Putting aside his 'brain fart' LOL, at least he's shown that he CAN play on grass when he puts his mind to it. He's been rumbled. LMAO. I need to have a word in his ear again about tiebreaks ... Up at 5am tomorrow for the journey to my sacred ground ... ;D
