That sounds extremely "snobbish"! What a shame he didn't pick an event that would give him ranking points. I suppose they pay really well... Have you checked the prices? I think 270 pounds is the cheapest ticket, for the last day; all other tickets cost over 300 pounds...very posh event, so he must be paid well...

That´s some good practise, to say the least. This event only takes a few days. I can imagine he wants to have some rest instead of just a few ranking points and going out of the country again for possibly 2-3 matches (or you can play in Nottingham), while you can get some good practise here. And, as you guys said;), if it pays well, why not haha? Although he can use the ranking points and I would LOVE to see him play in Holland for once! kisses

He's playing Rafa? LMAO - go for it Big Yin. You won't run him in to the ground from the baseline ... so guess what you're going to have to do to beat him? LMAO. ;D

Another thought Big Yin. Pernfors is playing in the legends apparently. Ask him to play with you - he's still a very good shotmaker and touch player on grass. He'd be brill as a practice partner for you. Uses a lot of topspin on the ball - useful on grass. ;D Pity I couldn't get to see him lob over you. That would be a treat. ;D FG, get them to Livvie for me next year - I'd pay good money to see that match up. PS Did I mention that I shook the hand of Pernfors ... LMAO. It won't get washed for another fortnight.

This is last year's highlights I suppose (judging by the fact that Rafa is there and that at the end of the vid you can see Moya lifting a cup), but just to get a "flavour" of this (very posh) event: www.fortistennisclassic.com/tennis.mpg
