A tiebreak? Bugger. Ok Big Yin, Wimbles is best of 5, but let's not get too blase ... Did he fight/break a racquet/mump?
I'm heading down to Liverpool tomorrow. Denise will book you a court Big Yin, and I'll coach for the weekend.
Chin up, and no shoulder slumping. You obviously didn't moo this morning.

I take it by the second serve stats, Gonzo's forehand WAS firing on all cylinders?

^ apparently...Well...not that i have expected anything different.
i knew that if he wanted to win this match he should have won the first set. It gives most of the players confidence and a boost of energy...Well...another tb which turned out to be disappointing..But he did hit 7 aces:D

Okay, let's give the boy a break. He's still out there playing - which says a lot for him. Grass puzzles him - God knows why, but I still think he'll crack it even this late in the day.
I'd love to know how he played today. Anybody out there see the match? What was the unforced error count?
Back to packing the suitcase ... apparently Liverpool has had some rain today. I knew I'd bring it with me ... on the bright side, Pernfors has signed a print of an illustration I did of him and Connors!
There's always a bright side! ;D

there doesn't seem to be a camera on court 1. There is a camera at court 1. On the bbc they usually show the end of the matches like the meltzer's meltdown against cilic. But i was revising at the time so i wasnt watching. Will defo keep a look out though Not much consolation but here are highlights of the safin v ward match news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/7445084.stmthis is on the bbc so i dont know if it only works in the UK or not, but you can give it a try I am with mary here - he is sticking with grass so i will keep supporting lol all together now....MOOOOO ;D

Expected loss by Marat, nothing to get beat up about. Tomorrow is nightmarish: Bambi plays Richie. OMG, why does that have to happen? Good luck to both - and I guess Mario will win (pardonne-moi, Richard ). ah, Marat .... *shrug* was wondering how you're gonna handle Mario-Richie sweet match-ups across the board tomorrow ... don't have coverage til Friday -- figures

but he has to start defeating top 10 players early on to advance up the rankings. thats the whole point. to defeat the top 10 players, to start playing that great tennis again. He is capable of doing it too.

I didn't see much of Andy's match - what happened? Did he: sprain his ankle/wrist/neck ... throw up on court ... or all of the above? Please tell me he hasn't injured himself yet again?

first he injured his thumb( in the moment he was down in the first set), okay, that was the real injury, he had to take medical break, and than each time between games he recieved medical care ... then when he was loosing in the 3rd his foot slipped and he fell, I though that he'd strained ligaments in the inner side of his thigh, it seemed he was struggling, but c'mon after first won game he was just fine, running again... Maybe those two were just coincidences + I cannot be objective( latvian spirit works but it seemed as he used it just to disturb Ernests' attention....
