Here it is, my (very little) report of the DC weekend in Moscow .... Notification: Please don't use or post any of my pictures anywhere else without my permission! Thank you ;D It really was the battle of the injured and the flue .... Who had the most fit players .... Every day it was a surprise to see who was playing who, lol! So, am going to start with the 1st day .... Friday: Teddy was playing Nole, but he was sick, so he had to play Nened instead! You could see in the 1st set that he was very agitated because of that, he couldn't find his rhytm and game Thank god that changed after the first set and the 1st point was in ;D So, it was 1-0 for the Ruskies , 2nd match was up .... Kolya vs. Troicki.... The 2nd point was IN DA POCKET!!!!!! Woohoo, who could have ever expected that A hug from the very proud and happy coach ;D And now .... the rest of the "non match" pictures Since it was the weekend before Valentine's day ..... You could "feel" there was some love in the air In the russian team and in the Serbian team as well BUSTED ;D: Other then that, there was a very pregnant Nastya too: and the russian and serbian bench: Poor Marat

Sunday: Final day!!!!!!! We thought it would be fun to join the Russian Cheering squad (yes, the always very loud ones with tons of flags) at the other side of the court, so we did (these piccies were from the friday and saturday matches, so you could see who we joined ;D) This time it was a promising and tensed line-up ..... Nole vs. Kolya first A very relaxed Tarpi Talking through the tactics And then ... the match was over I really was like "WTF just happened " like most of the stadium and after realizing the 3rd point for the Ruskies was a fact, everyone cheered and screamed and waved with the flags!!!!! RUSSIA WAS THROUGH!!!!!!!! Too bad for Nole though, cuz he was really sick , during the little breaks, the coach had to cool his body down with cold towels out of the fridge for the drinks! So..... Russia was trough, the last match was a dead rubber ;D Mitya was playing Troicki, on his 22nd birthday (and what a gentleman was Mitya, to let the guy win on his bday as a present ;D As i really needed a little break, Lena took over my camera, so we have a lot of Mitya piccies A bit of "disco fever" on the scoreboard amd yes, that made me miss the Mitya shirt change a nice little discussion between the frenchie umpire and the serbs ;D They're discussing the details for the party here, me thinks And the match and the weekend was over: Russia 3, Serbia 2 , with a nice present for the birthday boy Troicki

Well done Frensje. LMAO. I loved the Big Yin pic blowing his nose in a tea towel. Yet another reason why he should not be allowed anywhere near a kitchen. LOL. ;D
Double o fairy
PS Didn't know he and No 1 coach were so close ... it was so romantic. Brought tears to my eyes. Of laughter. LMAO. ;D
