yeah, he lost some 5kgs...that's a lot of weight...he doesn't look to skinny though, so it's probably from body fats, and then he built his body up again by working out and lifting weights...hence the much talked about Rafa-esque muscles...

Being a non-Russian speaker, I will translate in a fluent English voice (with a Russki accent). Blinis all round (my only Russian ...). Chuck in a voddie. "I Marat Safin, aka Big Yin, have realised the errors of my ways. I will put aside all the self-anxiety that I have handicapped myself with over the last 2 years and remember why I can win Grand Slams. My natural ability is more than capable of delivering a Grand Slam win again ... and several ATP events ... in the next couple of years before I retire to go fishing full-time. In 2008, my ambition is to realise those talents again. The Australian Open this year was a revelation to me. I was able to produce the shots and tactics that I am still capable of. I just took too long to find that in the first two sets and played some loose shots. The first and the last this year ... it won't happen again. Then, I woke up ... Jeez (wee bit of Scots slipping in there - apologies) I just need to focus and believe in that ability. Positivity. My fairy godmother has brainwashed me ( ;D) into thinking that I can play at the net (get on with it you muppet ... fairy godmother comment). Much as I would like to disagree, I have to admit that when I 'just do it', it works. ;D She's right ... (ha hahh ... fg) and I owe her for a change of mindset. (I'll settle for a pint). My mountaineering expedition proved useful. It cleared my mind and started to put it all into perspective. If I didn't play 'perfectly' every time, it didn't matter. What mattered was that I gave it all I could and I put my energies into channelling my aggression. I didn't waste it on debating old points and smashing my racquets ... I just learned from it (look at your racquet replacement bill ... and more importantly, the wasted energy .. fg) I know that in 2008 I will be a more positive player ... I just have to go out there and ... do it. Forget about the past ... and focus on the future. ;D Apologies for any misinterpretation. Aye, right.

One of the interviews is a post-match after Baggy at AO so we know that one. Star Hit interview is being done but the fact that I also have to work and take care of my family kinda slows the process LOL Will take care of them when I have some time to spare

He also mentioned something about getting another 23 tatoos ... ;D 23 tattoos? Where's he gonna put them?? I mean, he's a tall guy and there's a lot of areas to cover, no doubt about that...but still, 23 tattoos is too many...he'd be a walking doodle pad... besides, there are a couple of sensitive areas you can't put tats on even if you're the worlds strongest person with a lot of pain tolerance

Maryb, you know, some people may take your wonderful and inspiring "translation" seriously. LOL Hi Marti - LMAO. I thought my 'non-Russian' language ability would be a dead-giveaway. Apologies to annie ... I've no idea what the Big Yin said. It was wishful thinking! PS He ain't going for 23 tattoos ... more like 19. ;D Minus 4 in the sensitive areas. Even the Big Yin ain't that brave (and don't take that as a dare). I like the ' a walking doodle pad'. ;D PPS Marti, your English has suddenly become impeccable. You still haven't told me what nationality you are.

LMFAO...No need to apologize Mary...actually, i knew it's not a legit interview translation.... it's obvious with the the first line..."I Marat Safin, aka Big Yin...." I was just making fun out of it, you know, riding on the joke. ;D
