LMAO. This must be the follow-up pic to the tattoo pic that made me cry with laughter first time around (the 'thumbs up, I am in NO pain whatsoever ...' one). LMAO. ;D ;D ;D That'll be why the tattoo still looks red - and he looks bleary-eyed. He's just had it done. His brain has probably gone numb with the pain. LMAO. I really don't get all the fuss about a 29 years old retiring champion going to a pub and having a few drinks during a tournament IN HIS FAREWELL YEAR ON TOUR!!!
He has already said a million times that he had enough....leave the guy alone even if he has already lost in the first round in seven tournaments this year, even if he loses similarly in the remaining eight....
He IS still Safin: established mercurial genius and complex personality of charming inconstancy ...and he shall not be available for much longer so stop criticising and enjoy him while you still can

Finally - a few people saying what I have been thinking. Isn't part of what we love about Marat, the fact that he is human and not a robot. He should have as much fun as he wants - I think he's more tongue in cheek than people make out when he says he's fed up. I think he's probably enjoying saying goodbye to the places and friends as he goes round the world. And if he wins a match or two - well that's a bonus.

I guess this will the last Marat off court photo of this forum.
