I really don't get why we cannot say what we think... Of course I understand it's not acceptable to be disrespectful to anyone and it shouldn't be allowed.... But I believe that saying wheter we find someone atractive or not doesn't mean we are being disrespectul. Beauty is something relative, so it would be completely natural to hear someone saying that something or somebody is beautiful/ugly. I also think the guy from russia is a forum, and the mean characteristic of a forum is the contact between people and also their thoughts... so keeping them for ouserlves, would just turn this forum a common website. ps: This is not something personal with anyone here and these rules won't stop me from comming to this website. I just suddenly decided to say what I think... not that it really matters.   Oh you see this is where you are totally wrong. I never shut anyone up for no reason and never stop people from speaking up their minds. What does drive me round the bend though is when this website becomes a mega gossip supply. This website is first of all dedicated to a TENNIS PLAYER Marat Safin and tennis in general. We have never prohibited talks about his private life as long as everyone talks about his choices with respect and accepts them. He is a grown up man who leads a normal life of a single 28 year old and doesn't give a rats ass about what anyone else thinks. However, TGFR has always been a website known for stating facts and providing the latest news and information efficiently. However, most members here seem to forget that every once in a while. Every time a picture of Marat with a woman is posted it seems like hell breaks loose. The forum starts buzzing, people start going completely insane and the whole situation gets out of hand. "Vesnina looks better with Marat than her', " was hoping I'd see the day when she took off that horrid eyeshadow", " over tanned skin and proxide blonde hair just don't match, its like eating fish and ice cream together... that dress is yucky, my carpet looks better", " Marat needs deodorant." and these are just SOME of the comments made. I repeat once again and hope you get it this time. People in Marat's surrounding actually READ this website, so how would you feel if anyone ever made comments like that on a public forum about you or someone close to you??? Because all of us here are so amazingly great with our choices...aren't we? If you do feel a sudden urge to gossip about his private life or bitch about it, there is always private messaging, e-mails and other forums that tolerate this. We here will not. Rules are set and they are pretty clear. Thank you. |

Well... aparently I'm not the person totally wrong here. I just wrote a nice message, not complaining or anything else, I was just telling my thoughts about the rules, what I had never done before here... that was my fisrt time. I even said I undertood that disrespectul comments shouldn't be allowed... But just like I wrote: we cannot say what we think. I said what I was thinking and you came to me with all those rocks in your hands.
"I repeat once again and hope you get it this time." I got it on the first time you can see it yourself.. I never wrote a single message here with some of those comments you mentioned....
And if he is so grown up and doesn't give a rats ass about what anyone else thinks, he wouldn't mind reading on website that he was wearing an ugly outfit the other day...
Besides that, its seems like you didn't read what's written after the ps...

Dinara looks really nice! I agree, she look very attractive (not the she was not in the first place!) I am just saying that it is one of the nicest photo I have seen of her. Then again most of her photo that is published is with her sports attire. |

I haven't been here for ages, but things haven't changed a bit I've been a Marat fan since the fisrt time I saw him play on tv and that was in RG 1998..... can't possibly be a fan for longer unless I'm his mother I've NEVER been insterrested in his love life cause it's absolutely none of my business the guy is 28 years old, it's NORMAL and healthy for him to have a love life actually I'd be more worried about him if he didn't have one Annie, keep on rocking dorogaya |
