you guys I have curly hair  I mean my hair curls naturally. I hate it when I was so young  but now I do satisfy. It was wavy when I cut the hair shot. Perhaps Marat like this I thought  I like his hair when it was long curly too.  whatever you do Marat you always cool  |

As a fellow mophead, can I add my bit here on the physics of curls? If I brush my bob-length hair (particularly when it is wet until it gets drier), it will have huge wavy bits that point off in all directions. If I scrunch it (and add in some mousse for control) and dry naturally or blow dry with a diffuser, it goes very, very curly at this length. (Avoid the brush at all costs if you've moussed it. You really don't want to know what it looks like then). As my hair grows longer, the weight starts to drag it down to wavy. If my hair is cropped in really, really short (at the nape of my neck), it looks straight. And to add to the mix, I was blonde when I was younger. Now it's dark brown. The Big Yin has naturally curly hair which, when you take a brush or comb to it, goes wavy. His 'affro look' of old, has been layered and scrunched, or dried naturally. Basically, he hasn't used a brush. ;D PS He looks like his daddy. First pic I've seen. I always thought he was a deadringer for his mum. You can see both their faces there. Awwww. Okay, thank you!! I got it now...anyway, in my case...my hair is straight...until it reaches just below bra-length then it starts to get wavy...kinda oppossite of what happens with your hair. It used to be really black too, now it's a bit brownish. LOL...sorry i started talking about this...now we're all talking about hair... ;D ;D |

p.s. yeah, he looks of both his mom and dad...
i remembered those posts about cloning Marat....LOL...maybe we should take DNA samples from his parents instead!! LMAO

It's all part of what's so fab about him - the absolute sincerity of his response to his opponent, win or loose, and the Fed scenario was the perfect example in the above pics - the hug was so genuine and heart-felt...ahhh he's just so wonderful...

so many favs  and the ones I took last year, after one hour of practice under scorching sun, how can he still manage to be soooooooo HOT??!!! I mean, no makeup, no designer, just born to be almost perfect !!   sculpture-like physique, oh my!  Incredible- before the glorious victory over Maestro  |

I've always loved shots from '05...this being one of my favorites.  The curls, the curls. Guess this is why I took this shot of "the curls" at the 2008 USOpen...the day before he had his head shaved. LOL!   |
