OK, they say that today Marat was in Tver and the aim of his visit was to get acquainted with the Governor or Tverskoy Region. Some time ago administration of Tverskoy Region signed an agreeement with the Tennis Federation of Russia regarding tennis developments in that area.
Marat said that he has some initiatives and the Governor has his, so Marat came over to exchange views on the matter in order to avoid "officiality" in the future. Marat said that he will be coming in the future, bringing other players over. He obviously can't come often because he has to play tennis himself ;D but when he is in Moscow for a while, he will happily drive over and hold some lessons for kids.
Marat also said that the Region has to take everything slowly, first they need to build some courts. Quote "In order to play tennis you have to have some stadium or something...you can't play tennis in the field" ROTFLMAO, but he said that the Governor's intentions seem to be serious and he is positive this would work.
Marat said that he was greeted on the border of Tverskoy Region with escort cars and all the officials and said that next time it won't be necessary, he will drive himself without all this show-off stuff ;D
After the press conference and meeting with a Governor Marat had to go to a meeting with students of Tver's school of sports.

As for the video from Kazan, it pretty much says what we already know. He told them not to torture the kids and stop putting them all in one line like they're in the army. He said he likes Kazan very much and hopes that it's not water in the vodka bottle....he said he really appreciates the invitation and will help tennis developments in Kazan as much as he can and hopes to come here again. He said they drove all the way from Moscow and the road was beautiful. When asked what was the most vivid impression of the trip, he said he will be able to answer this question in a couple of days..after he digests it all |

I know Nicki!!!!!!!! I really laughed at that video...all these people trying to be really official and treating him like some God or something but in a very kinda Soviet manner coz the region isn't as developed as central Russia..so it's like presents and official speeches and he is just there like Yeah, ok...enough now..leave the kids run around, shut up everyone and lemme go look around, I am fed up with all this BS...LOL Hilarious...the tone of voice he speaks with is really funny....like "I don't believe this is happening to me and I am being filmed" LMFAO
