LMAO. Safe to say that the first half was the Big Yin heading up the mountain, but the second half was 'the reality'. On a 'very' smaller scale, I headed up Ben Y Vrackie in Pitlochry and it's only 3,000 feet! I headed up in a cardigan in early August, and it was baltic at the summit. Lesson learned, if you are going to do a 'mountain' which I certainly wasn't attempting - wasn't the Big Yin's attempt the fifth largest in the world (?) - be prepared. In every sense. LMAO. It was the photos of him buying beads en route that totally cracked me up. Still make me laugh now. Even in Pitlochry, we don't sell socks at 3,000 feet! LMAO. Keep cheering me up Big Yin.  |

Marat's practicing on his BEST surface, i.e., grass, for Aegon 2009 (before withdrawal) Saw he's on the player's list for FORTIS. Hope that'll give him some opportunity for practice before Wimbly. |
