Mrs Agassi! She was quite good at tennis too, I believe. LMAO. Boom boom. Stefan, the quiet one. You'd never have mixed him up with the Big Yin. LMAO. And another of my heroes. Johnny boy. PS Frensje - cheers. I prefer Rodin myself. LMAO. Don't do commissions. Reality ie the day job doesn't allow it. Can't get near the drawing board these days. When I finish Maestro's sketch, I plan to do one of the Big Yin. It's been quite a few years since I had my watercolours out! It'll probably be 2010 before the Big Yin is completed.

In the spirit of goodwill to all my fellow tgfr posters, I decided I'd get my pencils out last night and try a sketch of the Big Yin. I'm still not happy with it - the Big Yin ain't the only one after perfection. ;D Good enough try for a first attempt. A typical Big Yin pose ...

Merci Uranus. ;D To get me in the mood, I also played the DVD of the AO in 2005. Nice to see the Big Yin in full self-belief mode. Forgotten how twitchy Maestro looks when he plays him ... he knows that when the 'focused-heid' is on, the Big Yin's really dangerous. LMAO. The Big Yin should be made to sit down and watch these matches. That would be another part of my coaching masterplan. 'Pay attention Big Yin ... this is how your opponents react when you are focused. Look at their body language. More importantly, look at yours ...' ;D 'Do my eyes deceive me, but have you just come off the baseline ...' LMAO ;D Being off work this week made me do a lot of the things that I've wanted to do for so long ... days working in the garden ... finish off some of the decorating (that I started the second week of Wimbledon) ... switch off ... have a cookfest ... get my pencils oot ... read a book ... The Big Yin is right, you do look at life and say 'is this it?' ... usually when you have been away from the mind-numbing grind of the day-to-day slog at work. He at least never really has to work again after his tennis career is over ... lucky wee bugger. ;D Hope he appreciates that he has the one thing in life in front of him that many do not have, the luxury of time. Make the most of it Big Yin when it arrives ... but just make damn sure that the tennis career goes on for a few more successful years (minimum of 2). You can retire after you've won Wimbles ... and another Slam. PS I've been getting text messages and emails from colleagues at work ... in desperation. I'll be back at work on Monday and stressed out by 11am. Guaranteed. Fingers crossed for the lottery this weekend. I'll settle for £2million as life-changing ... ;D I only need a couple of acres for the chickens!

The big heads? LMAO. I doubt I'll get near doing one of these of the Big Yin. They take a long time to work up - the garden and the job intrude on my drawing time these days. I'll maybe stick to a few pencil sketches of him. Still pretty therapeutic for me anyway! ;D Speaking of gardens ... the sun's out and I'm offski ... back to work tomorrow. Groan.
