Day 4, Thursday May 17!A little Hang-overed  , and very tired after last night.... Hewitt...... (with Bec and the Hottie coach ) hottie coach = Darren Cahill oops, I think you mean Roger vs Ferrer... I mean the guy is on his way to be the best player ever but even then I don't think he will play a match against himself RFLMAO Thanks for all the pics, inlcuding the fireworks  made me relive everything again.  Hahaha... Yep... You're so right... Even Roger can't do that.... ;)Although........ He was fighting against himself in some of his matches Will modify it, sweety!!!!!! And... thank you about the Hewitt hottie coach... forget the guy's name! And maybe Annette knows the name of the hottie interviewer..... Annette, sweetie.... please?? |

How can you forget Darren's name? Tststs BTW, I heard that he was accompanying Lleyton but is in serious negotiations with Roger (seems you were right after all, Lena!). So who knows what's gonna happen... As for the stadium speaker: I have no f...ing clue about who he is, lmao! He has been at the tournament for a few years now and frankly speaking I find him extremely annoying  No idea why you girls think he's hot...  Maybe Lena has an idea about his identity (sorry to pass the torch, my dear moderator ). |

Hello everybody, First a big THANKS to Francis, Annette and Alex for all the beautiful pictures you ladies posted. I won’t be posting any pics since I only took about 10!!!! I had a crappy camera so after those 10 (very bad) pictures I just relied on the others to take lots of pictures. But I did wanted to let everybody know I had a really great time in Hamburg. I had to go to work the day after I got home and didn’t have much time this week, but decided tot write something as soon as my weekend started and luckily that’s right now!!!! Like Annette already said a whole week of tennis wears you out!! (Not to mention having a hotel at the very noisy Reeperbahn and because of that only sleeping about 5 hours every night!!  ) I needed this whole week just to come back to the land of the living. Nevertheless I would do it again in a heartbeat, because I had such a good time. Never being to a tournament abroad for a whole week and meeting Francis for the very first time at the airport I was pretty nervous. The worrying was all for nothing; the days flew by and us ladies got along just fine. The only downside is I hardly got to see anything of Hamburg. What do you do about that: go again next year!!!!! ;D ;D Annette and Alex already gave a detailled report about Marat's matches. The only thing my brain seems to want the remember is how freeking COLD it was during that wednesday horror match!!! The outcome was off course a disappointment. More so because I was not going to see Marat play anymore. I felt really sad afterwards and back at the hotel Francis had to give me a peptalk. After a few "Latte Machiatto's" the next morning (you can see me holding one on page 1) I was doing ok again. I was not disappointed with Marat, if you know what I mean. Although the man drives me absolutly crazy sometimes, I love him anyway. Why? Well, probably because Marat is just Marat. A human being leading a real life, just like the rest of us. I'm looking forward to seeing him play again. It was a true pleasure meeting Alex, Francis, Annette and Lena and hopefully we will see eachother again next year. P.S. I don't know the name of the hottie interviewer (not my type by the way ) but a lovely German man sitting beside me told me he is a commentator on the radio!! Maybe this will make the search easier!!??!! |

I agree with frensje and everybody who has been in Hamburg last week, the week was absolutely fantastic! I've been there Monday to Wednesday and also on Friday. In fact, I had tickets for the final, but unfortunately I could not go there because of hockey (I had a match!!!). So my parents used the tickets and enjoyed a perfect final. Of course I was so sad, but I reminded myself all the time that the past week was also great. So here are some photos, I hope you like them. We're soooooo gonna be the TGFR Cheering Squad for Maratik then ;D Maybe we can sign up at that desk where all the kiddies did, Be his official cheeringteam (do think we have to attend a German Tennis Club, and the seats they had were crappy as well )and make a few songlines for Maratik..... * Let's go, Marat.... They have had celebrates their cherry blossom (40th time in Hamburg). The habour party was the weekend before, and it was the 830th habour birthday |
