Hehehehe, thanks Vass! ;D I wrote quite a few of the rules with certain things/incidents/people in mind  I tried to keep it light-hearted; don't want the tagboard/shoutbox (not sure what to call it now :  becoming a prison camp or anything. I just wanted to give fans a few pointers; the language was getting worse (  ) and some fans were trying to say what the TB/SB could or couldn't be used for. ( : We're also coming up to 'Silly Season' - no more matches, very little Marat news and lots of kids on holiday with too much time on their hands. There's already been some weird rumours started on the TB/SB and I wanted to give current/new members my view on how to deal with these people intent on causing trouble. I just thought the rules might be a nice, polite little reminder to everyone and troublemakers have no excuse - it might even put a few of them off *fingers crossed*  And yes, it took me way longer than I intended to write them out, because I kept re-wording them and thinking of more ideas  ;D...I'm sure it's incomplete anyway!! |

Be glad you missed them Maria! Stuff about Marat getting secretly married, getting Dasha pregnant, getting someone else pregnant.... the usual junk from the same IP's I've no idea if the rules will affect the kids, but it gives them no excuse and also some guidelines to other users as to how to handle troublemakers when the appear. Hopefully the 'just ignore them - don't start a 17 page argument' method will make my Christmas a little less stressful ;D |

OMG Ruth!! I'm glad indeed I've missed all that! Oh-oh!  I so understand it's not nice to have such messages on your site. And yeah, "ignore" is the best option there, or just asking for some proof as you suggested. oh yeah maria, it was there. myke tried to talk some sense into them but it didn't work. so a few of us decided to relive our/their TB days and started having colourful conversations there one night. hahaha...was real interesting. hopefully it kept them somewhat quiet. then the poor TB couldn't take it of course, and disappeared (at least, that's MY crackpot theory ) so now ruth's got a new TB |

OMG Ruth!! you would not believe what i've been reading at the TB earlier!! they were like saying really awful things about Marat and some of them were really lewd...i just cannot bear reading them...it's disgusting...i wish we can do something about it but i know there really isn't so much we can do...  just the other day there was this "  ?" person and i told him you wouldn't like it and said maybe he should take a look at the TB rules...i don't know what happened after that...i logged out already... it's really sad people do that... |
