ah, dreams are tricky .... most of the time I never remember them either, or right when I wake up I see what I was dreaming or have some feeling about it, but then the more I concentrate on it to figure it out, it goes away that much faster, which gets very aggrevating .... then there are dreams that I do remember that seem so vivid that it takes me a minute to distinguish whether it was a dream or whether it actually happened, haha -- even if it's the most odd thing that I dreamed, it just seemed so real, it is kinda freaky on a separate note - deja vu .... that freaks me out ... there have been several times where I'll be in a situation and the feeling or the surroundings, even the conversation in it will make me stop and think 'this has happened before' -- but it hasn't, whether it's happened it dreams or what, no freaking idea .... it's really strange, maybe it's a sign (and not a good one LoL)

I don't know if dreams actually predicts the future, or sums up the day you had and sort of antangle it, or maybe brings out your deepest, most hidden desires....What i think is really freaky, is when you dream and you can actually taste, feel, and smell what's goint on in your dream. does anybody else experienced something like that?
BTW, i read somewhere that you can actually manipulate your dreams. I mean, you know, manipulate where the story in your dreams would go. But to do that, you have to realize you are dreaming...in your dream.
One other thing, since we're talking about dreams...ever experienced something really scary in your dreams? Like some black entity's trying to suffocate you, and you can't move kinda thing? I did, a few times...but i know I was dreaming, coz it was too weird to be real, so in my dream i fought and struggled to breathe, and actually reciting my prayers...in the dream.

^^ I've have dreams in which I fall, which wakes me up with a start ... still feeling that sensation in my stomach, and my heart's pounding
I've had times too where the dream was so intense, the feelings seem so real ... one time I was crying in the dream and I actually woke up with tears in my eyes, which was the oddest feeling

hello i have been neglecting TGFR so have been trying to catch up on the threads.....found your dreams chat really intresting ;D i dont remember my dreams but there are a few things that you can do to help u remember them...... if u keep a pen and note pad next to your bed.... when u wake up -write down straight away what u have just dreamed about. Try to remember colours and places and decribe how u are feeling too (like if ur sad or upset or scared) decriptions of people u dont know too. then even if u go and brush your teeth and forget yyou can go back and read what u wrote. This is quite useful if you think that ur dreams can predict things.....you might find something intresting. And remember that you only actually dream in the last phase of your sleep so if u wake up in the middle of sleep you may have interupted it at the wrong point so dont be surprised if you cant remember anything. Annie is right....there is also a way to control your dreams too. there is a type of dream called lucid dreams....this is where you are dreaming and you come to realise thta it is a dream and you are actually asleep. Most people wake up straight after and have that '!wow that felt so real!' feeling . there are ways to keep yourself in lucid dream and this iis really useful if u are dreaming about say marat safin!! 1. dont panic otherwise you wake up 2. make yourself spin around in your dream and this them keeps you in the dream and u stay in your sleep and can then go onto control it (i havnt been able to suceed at the last one but will keep trying!!!! now i have written too much!!!! ;D ;D

Interesting discussion about dreams! In my life I have had a few sad dreams in which I was crying. When I woke up I was really crying in my bed and my pillow was wet. I also had a few dreams in which I realised I was dreaming and I woke up myself, because I didn’t what to dream anymore. These dreams are really strange. The last months I’ve had dreams about spiders. In the dream there is a spider crawling on the wall or crawling to me when I am lying in my bed in my room. I am scared and wake up, because I hate spiders. When I wake up I don’t realise it was a dream, because these dreams always happens in my room. I turn on the light in my room, because I want to look at spider and then I realise it wasn’t real. On the Internet you can find the meanings of dreams. It doesn’t make me much wiser about my dreams. Maybe it tells me something about my fears.

Oh, have i done that quite a few times...LOL...i hate it though when i turn around and suddenly Marat morphs into someone else...next time, i'm going to try to bring him back and keep him there...sneaky little boy! I usually have very intense dreams and remember most of them.. But my dreams are almost always about other people, not about me! So many times my dreams came true, that it begins to be a little scary For example I had I dream that a friend of mine had a car accident and I was visiting him in a hospital. In the morning I found out that he really had a car accident and it happened that very night! Only once i had a dream about Marat.. I dreamed that Federer was climbing a mountain and Marat was following him.. So I know that Marat will only go up in his ranking ;D

well, let's hope that does come true, eh? maybe you can manipulate it so that Marat reaches the top first?
