Well first of all good news: there is a high speed internet connection in my hotel room ;D ;D ;D

Then the not-so-good news. Arrived in Kuwait ( Vass I am sooo close ) at 1 am last night and this morning we called the Kuwaitians to ask them what time we should meet. Guess what they said??? "Well ,we are rather shocked you are here already because we were not expecting you till Wednesday and informed all our colleagues that we shall meet then" That's what happens when Annie takes a couple of days leave and her colleagues arrange the trip

So today is a totally useless and wasted day because they will not meet us. We managed to schedule for tomorrow at 9 am but the worst thing is that Thursday and Friday are days off here and if we dont manage to wrap up now in 2 days, we will have to stay on and work Saturday and Sunday

Positive things: having had that convo with the Kuwaities, we decided to drown our sorrows in shopping and I bought a GORRRGEOUS suit from Massimo Dutti (summer light great striped trouser suit with bootleg really classy pants ) and the best part of this trip is definitely the weather: +30!!!!!!!

Will be popping in to keep you posted!!!!

Grrrrr, Annie I feel for you, I hope you get everything sorted tomorrow and don't have to spend too much time in Kuwait. Although, the shopping and may be some consolation.
I had a similar situation on Saturday but I had to work a convention and do some presentations. To make sure everything was in place I organised everything myself, but because I had Friday off, some $%#@& decided they knew better and changed the set up. When I walked in on Saturday morning [after a very long St Patricks Day ] I was faced with the biggest #$@% up. To make matters worse, I am a pretty **mellow** person, so on the rare occasions when I go off my colleagues think it's hilarious and stand around laughing at me
