I wish you all a great new years eve, may your wishes come true in the new year   Same to you too blue,and to everyone else at tgfr. What's really annoying me now though is that I want to learn Spanish but my parents want me to learn french and it's so frustrating and annoying because they aren't supportive of me.Has anyone else had this kind of problem?   |

I have the same problem, I want to learn german but my parents won't let me because they think french is better (not as a language but u know, for me it's more useful) and they won't let me learn french until they're sure I have a perfect english... btw, If I can help you in anything with the spanish thing, just ask!! ;D ;D |

Learning german?? LOL ;D Why do you want to learn? I like the language, it's so different from spanish..... I mean, I love my language, but I want to try something different and I think german is lovely.. though it sounds a bit rude.. I guess I just like it. ;D |

i hope everyone had a great nye and didn't suffer too much for it the next day!!
it was 43 degrees celcius in melbourne so we couldn't even fire up the barbie!! and my thoughts are with all the ppl who lost thier houses in the fires in victoria and nsw yesterday. what a horrible way to start the new year.
does anyone have a new years' resolution?

Pau if you finally learn german and need some help, just ask I would find spanish really interesting to learn, but at the moment I´m too busy with other things, Maybe when I´ve finished my study and have a job. Btw., happy new year to everyone!!!! |

id love to learn more languages.
Spanish just sounds beautiful to me.. my friend used to teach me the basics every maths lesson.. which is why im failing the subject at the moment, too busy writing down ola amigo! te querio... hehe close enough.. kayate...
Today i watched the hopman cup on tv, US vs RUSsIA.. that guy was funny! geez i forgot his name.... yuri? damn... if anyone knows do tell.... its killing me.... he had a good sense of humour n i didnt mind so much that marat wasnt playing. hehe... i like taylor dent, he seems really aggressive on court and then when they interview him he is cooler than a cucumber... haha.. cool bloke. lol
well, im just babbling along... best be off!

You mean Yuri Schukin? I´ve never heard of him before, lol. Taylor Dent is funny, so is his game. You´re lucky to watch the Hopman Cup, I would like to, but all they show is Doha  Hm, better than nothing. |

yuri schukin. thats him!! nice guy!! i never heard of him before either.. but i was like happy for him that he got to play..
Yep taylor dent is a likable character. and its so interesting watching a player like him.. serve n volley, up to the net.
i dont think aust covers enuf tennis stuff! its really only the grand slams and a few other tournies... but they end up being on weird hours so i always miss em....
