Even sadder now that they have confirmed it was terrorists, Al Qaeda in Europe have claimed responsibility but it's not verified. Anyone that can just kill and injure almost a thousand innocent people deserve nothing less then to rot in hell. Sorry, but I hate them with a passion.

OKay I'm living in London and I still can't believe what happened, its such a strange feeling when u see Aldgate Station and u have all these opictures in ur head of all the people who were hurt. I#m just extremly lucky that I slept too long yesterday or I might have had been in the wrong tube. My brother almost went into the tube where everything happened, but he couldn't get in because it was so full and he took the car. Only his best friend got hurt, but we visted him in hospital last night and he's allright. Its so terrible that things like that happen today and its even worse when it happens in the city u live. Its not easy to feel safe but u just have to go on with lif. All my thoughts go out to the people who were killed and their relatives and the people who were hurt, I just hope something terrible like that doesnt happen again.

Serena, how awful I am so glad to hear you all are okay, that you slept late. Your poor friend I am so glad to hear he is alright One of my friends was late for work, so it happened just when she was leaving home, but her boyfriend called her and stopped her until they knew what what going on, thank god she was late that day. I spent most of the day watching the tv and most of last night too. Today they were saying that they still have to get into Russel Square Tube station, and fear the death toll will be going up today. Did you go to work today Serena? Some of my friends did not. Its been such a long time since Londoners have had to deal with this type of terrorism. I was in living in London years ago when the IRA was in its heyday and had many a scary occassion. Remember having to walk miles to get home. When they said that a lot of people did not know how to get home because everyday they take the tube, so to walk they had never done, I could relate, the first time, I had absolutely no idea how to walk home.........but under those circumstances people come together, and thats what happened, strangers helped me. Serena I hope you have a peaceful weekend, and that next week you will be able to get back to some kind of normalcy (sp) I know its not easy to live like this, but unfortunately is how life is today, poor Londoners the past will be coming back to them. But as you say life goes on.

[/quote] Amen to that!!! My friend was flying here from London yesterday, luckily she's fine. She also -finally-managed to get through to 2 of her friends who were actually staying in ahotel near where the bus was blown up, they're fine too. What a sad, sad day but i suppose we should just be thankful it wasnt much much worse.

As I've just finished my studies , I have vacation and only work at home, but most of friends didnt go to work or college either. Everything is just very weird at the mom, but the british people handle the situation very well and live their lifes like they did before, but today almost nobody went to work i think. Yeah I'm just happy ti get away from London for the weekendm, as I'll go to the Formula ONe race in Silverstone to see my dad.

Jewell omg poor you, thank god you were not there at the time. A lot of people were lucky. Unfortunately I think you are right about it been worse than the authorities are letting on. The situation at Russel Sq is particularly bad, I just head that they have been able to recover some bodies but they are not saying much more. We have been hearing some really horrific stories of what it is like inside RS, enough to give one nightmares. We are glued to the BBC channel here. Can't stop thinking about those poor people who have lost love ones. I had two friends return from London on Friday and yesterday. Take care

I can't believe what is happening in this world!!It's such a drama!I was shocked when I saw the news!! Even now, when I see the victims of this terrible attack!
Al Qaeda ...is everywhere! And what can we do?!!Nothing...just wait...the next attack! Just revolting.....Who will stop them?!!
I'm very impressed by the Londoners! They have recovered quickly! That's positive!Very brave...
