Anyway, Annie you missed my question on page 21... what do you traditionally have for dinner on Christmas in Russia? you know, like in the US there's turkey, and here there's the roasted suckling pig... not on same subject but somebody asked what SUKA means....it has a meaning here too....it means vinegar...LOL...just thought it was funny...you know, what means bitch to you means vinegar to me....LOL LOL for this meaning...this was my question! What does SUKA mean in portuguese?? Nothing!! It was just my nickname used by my family untill the day I discovered that it was a bad word in russian! lol Annie, what language do you speak?? I have been catching up with a radio programme which i first heard before Xmas. It's called 'The Longest Road' and it's about the road to Vladivostok from St Petersburg. The first programme is set in St P and Moscow where nobody seems to have heard of the road and it's not even on the latest map. However the presenter does find someone who has travelled all that way and says that the road travels through land straight out of Russian fairy tales and he expected to find wood goblins leaping out at him in some places. Do you know anything about it, Annie?

Annie, perhaps ,it was all a hoax, a very late/early April Fool? However I've found a link so you can decide for yourself: www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/thelongestroad/pip/tgopvI found another article which called it the Trans-Siberian Highway, but I've lost the link. Hope all this makes sense.
