I just saw the GQ featuring Marat on newsstand. I didn't bother to buy it b/c it was so expensive. But there's a loooooooooong article and good pics so someone should definitely scan it if they can.

To all Fans, Webby and possibly Mr. Safin.
Hello to you all. I hope you are all well and everything it’s going good. I just saw the scoreboard in the site, I was working while the match went on and I work for a bank and while the game was on I think I did some mistakes to some customers money ups! Just to say I couldn’t concentrate…. impossible tennis should be relaxing not like this but hey that’s why I like his game.
I just bought the GQ magazine, though I’m not that kind of fan that thinks Marat Safin it’s the continuation Of the Back street Boys or maybe Ricky Martins version in tennis, (you know I just want to see him play not modeling in a magazine or maybe changing carriers although after GQ somebody should hire him for modeling ja ja) I said let’s see. Well turns out that I don’t know who was the genius in having that article made …but certainly it tops any other sports magazine articles I have read in the past and believe me I HAVE READ. I mean its GQ what does GQ knows about tennis; well Sullivan had made a point whereas other magazines just try to crush our beloved athlete.
Not only comes from a true fan that I think he has watched Safin when he wins but also when he looses (which not a lot of people do cause they get tired ugh!). That has followed a career but also the genius behind the racket. Because you know I have read articles that talk about “how nicely Safin breaks rackets awww applause to the new Mcenroe” but it also gave me answers (although I have 100 more heck! Who know if I ever get an answer, articles like this help to cross the questions in mi mind). When I read the article it was like I was making the questions and I was having the same thoughts as the Journalist.
I don’t know Safin (I don’t know if I ever will, and if I do it will probably be for 10 seconds, so I will never know him) but I think this article its real, and I know the guy Sullivan is talking about, I have to admit the pictures are awesome (but that not why I read it) articles like this are excellent and bring a sense to reality to a unknown person. I don’t think Safin craves the spotlight but he certainly knows how to get attention and maybe he doesn’t do it on purpose. Maybe I’m talking nonsense and yes I don’t know !@#$, But have followed his career and I see talent from the highest curl of hair to the pinky toe in his left foot. Thanks 4 attention in this long boring letter, opinions are always welcome. Giselle.

neworn, those are Christine`s photos (from the site safinator.com), ask her for permission if you want to use them. If you don´t have her permission, please don´t post them. To tell you the truth, I think it`s easier visiting her site if you want to see them, people(or post the link of the photo you want everyone to see and give credit. NO HOTLINKING from her site!!!). And we have special threads for posting photos this one is for magazines, we try to stay on topic within threads Even when we can´t do it all the time ;D ;D
