Hi! My name is Anna and I'm from Poland. I have blond hair and hazel eyes. I'm 18 and have an older brother. What else.... hmm... Oh, I'm 172 cm, so i guess about 5ft 4in (not sure). My character? Undescribeable...
Hobbies: music, books, soccer and tennis.
I'm scared of bugs and other insects, storm at night (quite stupid but I can do nothing with it), ghosts and some misterious things which are fescinating me at the same time.
I'm in last class of high school and I'm going to study something somewhere.
I think, it's enough for the first time.

Argh can't believe it's been so long already since I posted here. I always say I'll stick around, but then get so busy that I can't keep up with all those posts.
For yous that don't know me. I'm Saskia and live in The Netherlands. I'm 24 years old now and have been a marat admirer since pfffff can't even remember, probably somewhere around 1997 when I saw him play in the Rotterdam tournament for the first time. I've been around on Sergey's forum and then when he stopped his site came here.
Last year I got my bachelor degree at uni in International Communication. Two years ago I went to Australia for 6 months to do my complimentary traineeship. And I was lucky enough to get a job at the marketing departement of Tennis Australia and ended up working in communications during teh Australian Open. Hard work, but a dream come true.
Right now I'm unemployed and thinking of getting my master degree, but haven't decided yet. In a few years time I hope to be living abroad.

Yeah I know it's horrible. I shoudl come on more often. Actually I'm looking for a job and wanting to do a masters degree and all that at the same time. Been ill for a very long time and now kinda getting up a bit again. I seriously have no idea where I'd want to live, might go back to Australia, but also been thinking about Vancouver or Paris. Don't know yet, hahaha. How r you btw?  ?? |

Can you all believe I JUST saw this thread? One thing I also saw is that some of my mates here pass comments and talk tell us anything about themselves (khmmm khmmm *wink* *wink* Teresa LMAO) Soooooooooooooooo.....here I go. My name is Anna (for a change!!!!! It's true this is the most popular female name in the world!!!!), I am from Moscow, Russia. I am 28 years old. Half of my life I lived abroad, spent 6 years in India with my parents and then another 5 years studying at the University of Malta. I have a degree in Commerce, specilalised in banking and finance and currently work for a large government bank in Moscow. I am pretty short (166 cm), have short dark brown hair, big dark brown eyes, which could kill if I am angry with someone, as my relatives say. LOL I am an only child (spoilt brat!!! lol) and have been happily married for 5 years to a wonderful wonderful handsome Russian guy. I love reading books, read them a lot, quickly and passionately, love classics, modern detective stories and adventure historical books. Music wise I have been a devoted fan of Depeche Mode for about 15 years now but I am very versatile in this aspect and have a huge CD collection where you could find anything starting from Chaikovsky and finishing with U2. I also like to watch movies, my favourite actors are De Niro, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey. I am a big tennis lover even though I never held a tennis racquet in my hands, however I would like to think of myself as a person who knows quite a lot about tennis and I am just obsessed with watching it either live or on TV, I have been like that since school and this is a life lasting passion I guess. Pete Sampras was my hero for a very long time and I until today I have very warm feelings about him. Today a "hero" place is occupied and I guess I do not need to name the person there ;D Marat makes my life so exciting that sometimes I think that if I ever get to meet him first thing I will do is tell him thank you for making my heart do roller coaster rides all the time LOL What else....character wise I am a difficult person. Even though I am very communicative with people, get along with everyone easily and shyness is something I have no idea about, I am very closed up emotionally. It is very difficult to make me lose my temper or splash out my emotions, I keep in all inside and live with it solely. One thing people say they love in me is my sense of humour. In fact this is something Marat and I have in common. Reading his interviews I always realise that we think alike and pass same comments in similar situations, it's really weird but I can't say I don't like it  Maybe it's the Russian way of thinking, I don't know. Anyway it's great to be here and be a part of this all and have all you wonderful people around. Keep it going and I truly hope I get to meet some of you guys in person. If anyone decides to visit Moscow, let me know ;D |

now here's my turn. i will try to make it brief. (BTW, Annie, i have been waiting for ur description since i found this thread. (it's so weired that i didn't notice this interesting one until a few days ago.) ok, here i go. My name is Jamie. and ppl call me Ge Lingwei in chinese (Ge sounds like Goal and Lingwei should be pronounced as Ling-Way). i will turn 18 this june and I have lived in my hometown Nanjing for the whole 18 years. I am believed to be outgoing and confident but i don't think i'm that lively as i seem to be. i can hardly make friends when i am thrown into to a brand new enviroment but after some time i can get along with nearly everybody quite well. i think that's because i seldom get angry and rarely show my anger. i love reading all kinds of books including essays, novels, bios, poems and so on. i also have great interest in sociology, philosophy and math. i listen to music a lot but i don't think i'm any expert. Jazz, rock & roll and folk songs are my fav. R 'n' B is ok but i don't like rap (all sorts of rap). anything else about me? oh, yes, i forget to describe my appearance. i think i'm quite plain. i'm 169cm tall(or short?) and was truly chubby before i lose some weight recently(hooooray!) like all the chinese, i have black hair (actually dark brown) and hazel eyes. my hair is long and wavy. my dream is to travel around the world. russia will be my first stop of the whole journey and south america will be the last.
