I guess it's time to introduce myself. My name is Veni. I'm 20 and I live and study in Sofia, Bulgaria. I hope I'll become a sport journalist very soon.  I'm very positive and chatty person. I've been professional taekwondo player for many years, but due to injury I quit. Now I play only for fun -skiing, tennis, tae bo....I`m a big lover sport in general. I'm very outgoing person. I love traveling, reading, listening to music and expressly doing to parties. ;D But now is the "exam season" and I have to write all these papers and essays.....  I've been Marat fan from 2000, I think. I like emotional people and it was a love at first sight. I said "who is this confused boy.....throwing racquet's and screaming" ;D Then I take a closer look and saw how talented he is. The rest is history! |

Well Well Well three holes in the ground ;D ;D ;D It has been a while and I have not ever seen this thread , see TGFR suprises me all the time... I do not believe that I have really introduced myself so here goes. Age : Too Old although 34 is the new 24 isn't it I was born in Zeist, Utrecht The Netherlands and my parents along with my two sisters immigrated to Australia and moved to the far north of Queensland.My youngest sister was born here in Australia. Was a bit of a tom boy but was not coordinated enough to play sports in fact the only word for it is " I suck...." I have dark blonde hair, Green eyes and am approx I62cm tall...and here is a picture. ...  I love watching most sports seeings that I cannot play and love music from Metal to new age... I have had many careers that have included Hospitality worked behind a bar pulling beer , then I grew up and started studying and Completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education but now I have gone down the easy road of careers and work for a Global company in Sydney and I am a secretary to the NSW Manager....It is very busy work and I am starting to study again to complete a diploma in Executive Administration. I love watching tennis and have done so for a very long time can still remember when Bjorn Bork used to play.. ..Marat has been a favourite of mine for awhile and I adore him on and off the court much to the dismay of my partner and also my co workers who have to endure photos of marat amongst my family pics.... I get picked on incessantly but i figure that that is a small price to pay for being a great big fam on Marat ;D. ...I look forward to seeing many more posts of new and old members.... |

I love bitteballen, frikandel, olibollen (new years) very nice......we grew up in a very Dutch household our friends used to call it the Muppet House as none of us were shrinking violets  You are not from holland are you |

No, my background is Irish. My best friend is Dutch and we stayed with all of her relatives when we were there. It was a novelty to have the Australian girls stay. We stayed with second cousins, aunts, nephews, daughters............hehehe

I was able to go to Holland after I graduated highschool and I stayed for a year and lived close to my grandmother who we did not really know that well but I went and saw my grandparents every Monday when I had a day off , but I never travelled anywhere in Europe which I regret now as I have not done a trip like that since....I have been to nearly all capital cities here in Australia as my family is now spread out over the whole of Australia....

I went to a few places in Holland, off course Amsterdam [I later worked as a tour leader and two days off hear every two weeks[, Maastrict, The Hague, the amusement park with little people [can't remember the name] but my favorite was the islands, Texel? I think one of them was called
