Thank you all for your concern for Asian people. Really sad to see a lot of people lost and injured. All New Year Celebrations are cancelled, which is appropriate coz I don't think anyone has mood of joy. My friend said, all she needed is staying home with mom and dad and hold them tightly. However, under this circumstance, there are somethings good happen. Yesterday I went to a foundation which response to rescue and taking care of bodies. Hundred of people are there to donate some money to the foundation for buying supplies, coz' the news said many of coffins are needed. And the Red Cross Center also filled with donators who want to give their blood for the victim. Cloth and food was sent to the southern of Thailand. Children who lost their parents are looked after by nurses and volunteers mom. Many of helping hands are moving all over Thailand. These generosity make people who sad, scared and panic feel warm and clam. So I believe that the situation will get better soon. There're still smile on people face. That's a good sign, isn't it? Indeed, it's a good new! I'm glad to hear that orphans are looked after by nurses and volunteers mom! They are shocked and they will be better with supports of those people! That's definitely a great new!

THe death-toll is predicted to rise to about 100 thousand. Btw. THis quake happened exactly 1 year, 58 minutes and 3 seconds after the earthquake in Bam, Iran, last year.

i'm not surprised at the death toll. entire villages have been submerged and with it, all the ppl in it. plus, with all this devastation around, diseases would set in which is bound to take even more lives. i know ppl here are forming teams of doctors to send medical supplies and aid to the region.
