btw I like that it's called a "fun club" instead of "fan club"

Awww... you guys ! This thread is the sweetest.....and, errr... most surreal thing I've seen on TGFR for a long time. I read Vass's 'ode-to Marat & his fans' on the other thread and I felt immensely proud to be a Marat fan - it really was such a beautiful and genuine message, and somehow, because it came from the one guy who always loses faith in Marat the quickest after every defeat (sorry, Vass, but you do!) it was even more poignant and special.  I just hope Vass reads his own words after every loss Marat has before he posts his knee-jerk reaction 'why Marat is wasting his talent' stuff I know that I'll certainly be reading and re-reading it for the exact same reason!! ;D It's certainly going to help keep my spirits up (and hopefully, Marat will win a few matches as well!) My oh my....if you'd told me a few weeks back that Vass would have his own fun/fan site/thread thing run by the very people he's most likely to argue with....... and started because Vass wrote a message encouraging us to stay Marat fans despite his loss....... what can I say? Will miracles never cease?! It does my heart good to read such great & grand words from Vass, and such sweet & sincere friendliness from you guys TGFR fans rock! |
