All the news I have is on the website. If I get news, I always post it as soon as possible - I promise you, I post the news on the website/message board within minutes of hearing it, so don't feel you have to keep asking me, like I've got lots of news but just forgotten to tell you. When I get news, I post it straight away. If I haven't posted any news, that's because I don't have any  So everything I know about the official website is on the news archive at www.theguyfromrussia.com/news.htm I'd just like to state publically (to the people who email me/PM me about the official website all the time) that
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE LINK WILL BE,
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE NAME WILL BE,
I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE FINISHED,
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE CONTENT WILL BE Thank you ;D (Don't worry Chachou, that wasn't for you... it was for some other fans) |

I have a feeling that Marat's managemnt is as beurocratic as the Russian governmant. And as corupt. Can't they build a site?

Well it takes a while to built a site, I couldn't beleive how long it took Shannon and I to build ours. I think it was 3 months and Dinara career is a lot shorter than Marat's plus she doesn't have nearly as many photos and articles. I expect that they are just trying to put a good site together and that takes time. Patience people!  |

Yep, that's right Nicki, websites (decent ones) are not quick things, and I think Elite's problem is getting Marat's opinion. Because he travels so much and doesn't get much internet time, it must be difficult to sit him down and say 'ok, do you like this? what colour? which photo?' etc. But it sounds like Marat wants to be quite involved in the creation of the site, which means, when it's finished, it should be closer to Marat's personal taste & personality, rather than a standard corporate site created by a team of web designers who've never even heard of Marat ;D I did mention just before RG, that management had warned it would be at least another month before the site was finished, which in reality, probably means 'October 2008'  I've never known them to be quick about anything - it's taken them 3 years to finally decide to create an official site! Careful Vass - beaurocratic maybe, but don't call them corrupt, or you could find you're unable to access the finished site You never know who's prowling through the various Marat boards.............. |
