frankly speaking, what safin needs is not which girl is by his side but how to concetrate on the tennis these years. if he can't lead himself to a straight road throughout so many matches, anything even small can easily down him.
we can understand him and stand closely by him now, and wish that one day he would meet a true girl in his life to hold him tightly so that we can share his wonderful match on court.
for dasha, she is so young and seems to fail to give safin enough, i think she has her right to have her own good time, safin maybe has done a right thing. when i think of them, most they were attending parties, maybe it was their free time, but for a tennis player, esp. a top player, time is so valuable, shouldn't be wasted.
if it is cloudy, i believe tomorrow will be fine, wait to see safin power back!

well....IMO...so please don't crucify me...if Dasha's giving Marat so many things to worry about and it sorta messes Marat up...maybe it's better this way..

Oh well......maybe there's still hope...and if there isn't...I just wish them both all the best. Dasha seems like a really sweet person.
The fact that Dasha was in Miami doesn't really mean anything. Dasha lives in Miami and studies there so it was only fair that she was there to support Marat

Just really sad news to hear, i suppose they must have thought it was the best thing to do ad oh well good luck in life Dasha and i wont start on what to say with marat we will be here forever.

I suppose it's not easy being a long distance girlfriend of a famous person who is always roaming around the world and who has a tough character. Good luck to Dasha and good luck to our darling  |

I agree with Annie. They say that it´s not only about if one person likes another person, its about having three things at the same time the right person the right way the right time So, when something seems missing... it´s better to part ways. I usually don´t like to think too much about his personal life, but I can´t help but wonder how he manages it all with such a demanding career... It makes my admiration grow bigger, and makes me a little sad at the same time. May be it doesn´t makes sense...  But I think we can all agree one day he will find... whatever he´s looking for, because I like to think that still good guys get good things at the end of the day. TEXT |

Okay, now Ruth has got me all very curious about Dasha and Freddie. Can someone in UK tell me who that is because I 've never heard of the guy. But there are pics of him and Dasha all over the place on Getty. His publicist denying stuff means nothing because you know how those royal people deny everything about their love lives.

I like what you said Linus and yes Annie good luck to our darling. But I cant help wondering........is there life after Marat? I mean where does one go after Marat? I guess Lord Freddie!! LOL But hey, are the Kent's not in dire straits, you know a little short of dosh and having to sell their wonderful estate home cause they can't afford to live there or their home in Kensington anymore? Don't they have to move from their quarters in Kensington Place which was given to them as a wedding present by queeie, who by the way used to pay the sterling 120,000-a-year-rent. However, following criticism in Parliament that the Queen was " bailing out hard-up relatives" they were told they would have leave in 2009 or some such Sooooo dating, if they are dating, darlings, the daughter of an oligarch (however that is spelt!) must be a good thing no? And for the daughter of an oligarch, royality, even if it is "hard up", is better than no royality, I guess? esp when daddy has loads of oil dosh  |

I love me some royalty, too, Theresa. And I just might ditch my future husband (unless it's Marat) if I could get together with that cute prince from Monaco (forgot the name..but it's Grace Kelly's grandson). But this Freddie Windsor isn't exactly good looking. And especially compared to Marat... um  ...but I guess it's hard to maintain a long-distance relationship. Marat of course is everywhere, but Dasha seems to go everywhere, too. I mean, she's in Russia, in the U.S., in England... |

Well....to be honest with you I don't buy Dasha - Freddie story...or maybe I don't want to buy it? I dunno. Dasha's Dad is in fact a Russian oligarch and he has a British citizenship and lives in London just like Roman Abramovich, so maybe they are friends...or maybe not...God I just hope this doesn't negatively affect Marat in any way.
