Imagine Marat as a tennis commentator [gulp, dare I mention it] on his retirement. He would be hilarious! I think he definitely has a future in media!! ;D

Guys this article is dated February 2, 2005. As I had said it a year ago when this had come up this is from the yellowest press you can find in Moscow so I am not even going to translate it..it's disrespectful to Marat and all it does is gossip about him in a very nasty way..anyway a year had passed already

I'm finding loads of articles today!! ;D anyway, i am just gonna copy and paste a part of the article, i'll give the link if you want to see the rest Top 10 Tennis Comebacks of 2006 7. Marat Safin -- Received a nice chunk of appearance fee at Dubai in his tour debut after finally returning from, by all accounts, a poorly-tended-to knee injury that may still need surgery. In Dubai he beat Top 10 Russian Nikolay Davydenko, then beat his countryman again along with former No. 1 Carlos Moya en route to the fourth round at Indian Wells. Safin almost immediately added spice to the tour upon his return, saying the video replay rules were crap, and pseudo-tanking a match in Miami after being put on after midnight. How fit is the big Russian? You'll find out this week in Davis Cup play.www.tennis-x.com/story/2006-04-04/c.php

На этот раз Екатерина Витебская (Fashion TV) собрала всех самых модных: модных певцов, модных телеведущих, модных актрис и спортсменов, а еще бизнесменов и просто давних друзей и партнеров. Итак, все по порядку: «fashion – певец» - Дима Билан, «fashion - певица» - Жасмин, «fashion- группа» - Reflex, « fashion - ведущий» - Андрей Малахов, «fashion и кино» - Кристина Орбакайте, «fashion и спорт» - Марат Сафин. was browsing through tennis.com and came across this: Q. My favorite tennis player is Marat Safin <isnt he everyone's?? >and I would like to know what style tennis he plays. Also, would you please explain the mechanics of his backhand? A. Marat is an immensely talented player that can play a multitude of styles. He can hurt you with his serve, ground strokes and return. His only weakness is his mind. He struggles with his mental consistency and this is a tough thing to get over. But the greatest players learn to win or get through bad days without letting it effect there confidence and the task at hand. This is a challenge for Marat, but he is one of my favorites to watch and if he ever gains that ability-- watch out fellas! He has a great 2-hander and he generates great racquet head speed and has a strong left hand to hit all types of shots, with quick acceleration at the end of his swing. written by Paul Annacone www.tennis.com/ME2/Audiences/dirmod.asp?sid=D82249C21B1243AC8414A33790B21AC3&nm=Your+Game&type=faqs&mod=FAQs&mid=F1DC381E34834576AFAE6187F8CBC46F&tier=3&fid=D370863665C745138756EB0ACA20AA2F
