What was he doing... Sitting in the bar with a friend two days before the match. Now that's unforgivable LOL

PS Tiger is in BIG trouble. Ana Ivanovic is in Scotland by the way. Been a few years since I was at the golf. Think I'll give it a miss this year as well ... they're about to be hit with traditional Scottish summer weather this weekend. Torrential rain and wind. ;D
Hope Ana brought an anorak!

Off the thread, I know ... but what the hell? If my Big Pixie is going to insist on going out early in a tournament, I'm going off on a final ramble in his threads ... ;D And boy, can I ramble ... forgive me Mrs Annie ... The Open. Poor, poor Tom! What was he thinking on that last putt? To then go into a play-off ... and then misfire on the last four. I SO wanted him to win - a two-fingured salute from the oldies that the world doesn't revolve around youth ... bugger. It doesn't guys ... and you'll find out soon enough. ;)Next year would be his last 'CHANCE' to be eligible to play. Such nonsense - he gets to a play-off and then he's deemed past it a year later ... Think I will go to St Andrews next year for at least a day ... Anyway, Bastad ... who won? More to the point, who knocked out my little irritation, Almagro? FG PS Does the Big Yin play golf? Other than footie, does he have any interest in other sports? PPS The weather held up for The Open! We had heavy showers and then the sun splitting the skies here in Glasgow. All day. Typical.

Robin Soderling became the first Swedish winner in Båstad since his coach Magnus Norman won the title back in 2000. The Swede made an incredible effort defeating Juan Monaco in the Sunday’s Catella Swedish Open final 6-3, 7-6(4). And to answer your question Mary, the winner did knock down Almagro along the way Congrats to Robin!
