6-4 7-5 to Tsonga ain't a disgrace, so Big Yin, no mumping. It's banned for the rest of the year, no matter the result. There were too many UEs from you in this one though (29) - and you are still playing better than a year ago. Let's not have you chipping away at the confidence again. Can we focus on getting the UEs down - and start leaning into that forehand. You're leaning back on it again and getting caught off-balance.
Back out on the practice courts. And I thought I told you to put the blondes back in the box? Or was that somebody else's pair? ;D

LMAO. Not stir it up? FACT - he'd only taken the blonde out of the box to try out the batteries ... hence her 'exuberance'. She's back in the box and at the back of the wardrobe with a couple of dodgy T-shirts. Tonight, I expect that my Big Pixie's sitting quietly in his hotel, minding his own business, cup of cocoa in hand, reading a copy of Spanish 'Hello', wearing his comfy slippers and deciding what T-shirt to wear tomorrow. He leads a far, far more exciting life than us mere mortals ... I'm away to water my courgettes. ;D FG PS Andy is having a battle with Bolelli ... just won first set on a tiebreak (11-9) ... possible number two player in the offing ... wayhay. Did I mention he's Scottish? ;D

Well now that the tourney is over for him I wonder when he will celebrate with Dinara her becoming #1? I would love to see some pictures of them having fun together!

Wayhay, another good win for Andy M! ;D 7-5 6-1! Maestro looked pretty cool on clay as well ... it's definitely all in the mind now. Big Yin, talk him out of this phase!

My SKY box let me down ... as usual ... so I didn't get to see Andy's last match in Madrid. Watched Rafa v Noely tonight. What a match from both of them. Very hard fought - and not much between them (understatement ...) Looks like Maestro is on his way to the final ... if ever he would have a good chance to beat Rafa on clay, it's after he's had a 4 hour match the night before ...
