Yeeaaah !! First final singles final since.. since his final in 2007 here, am I right? Woohoo! hm..Anne, he won doubles title last year teamed up with Dima after Himalaya expedition. He was the runner-up in KC 2006 where he lost to Kolya in the final. yes i meant singles and indeed it was 2006.. wow long time already. feels just like yesterday! Good luck tomorrow Marat. You can beat Igor, im sure!

Annette; I think the start is actually 1:30pm local time!!(according to KC OS) So Marat actually might be around at 3:30pm local time! Hoping for a good match and a much better result!

I thought that when Jelena hit 5-4 40-15 in the second set, we were doomed to a 3 set match ... ;D Thankfully the girl wrapped it up in 2. Well done.

It's a pity. Marat lost to Igor Kunitsyn with: 67 76 36. He played not that bad but just couldn't pull it off and well, Igor played good as well. Hopefully he'll do great in Madrid too!
