I thought today was going to be a complete disaster when Ily texted me to say that court 13 was already packed by 11am. I was stuck in the queue for over another hour (no 3688 today in Church Road). I made my way straight to the court and yes, you guessed it, got in another stricken queue. Guys, my wee legs did the job for you in the end. I missed the first set - saw the tie break from the top of the stairs, but got in and got a good seat in the fourth row - unblocked view of the boy for you. The camcorder has recorded some great footage for you - and Denise wants it for the official website. (Jeez, I hope I don't delete this by accident). I got some good shots when he was sitting down - even though it's over the net. Got some grins on camera for you. You will be so pleased when you see this. ;D Excuse the occasional bump. The woman next to me kept jiggling around in her seat. I assume it was the cold. It was a good match for him. The wee precious, he even went in to the net for me. Bless 'im. Keep it up. I don't think it was that bad a match, quite the opposite. He traded groundstrokes and volleyed. I couldn't have asked for much more. And he won. (Wish he'd stop mumping about lack of confidence - saying this keeps making it worse). He's on court one tomorrow, so I won't get to see him play as I can't get a ticket. Damn. Why can't Wimbles sell more tickets in the queue - it's a complete disgrace the ticket allocation. However, tickets for centre court have now been allocated to Ticketmaster - the back rows. Big Yin, do your stuff tomorrow and I'll be online tomorrow night at 8.30pm on the dot to try to get a ticket. Well done and keep it up. ;D The burns on my nose and forehead were worth it today. PS Had a laugh with Ily when we started texting each other at court 18 tonight trying to work out where the other was. Ended up with complete strangers getting waved at ... found him ... and then I lost him in the crowd. Starting to put faces to you guys now. ;D

I'm sick at home with gastritis today - no fun At least I get to watch all the tennis there is in Wimbledon, provided it won't rain. I downloaded Marat's match this morning and took some screenshots of my favorite part - him smiling after he won... Enjoy! Wimbledon 2007: Day 3 picks By Kamakshi Tandon A-U-H. Qureshi (PAK) vs. M. Safin (RUS) [26] Court 1 – 3rd matchAh, Marat. It’s the same old story – capable of anything, good or bad. He’s decided he’s not good on grass. He says he has no confidence at the moment. And as for his next opponent, he says he doesn’t even “know how he looks.” Yet most would still expect him to win the match. And what about his faceless opponent? Once famous solely for playing doubles with Israeli Amir Hadad, Qureshi has been on a nice little run these past few weeks. He qualified for Halle and defeated Richard Gasquet in the first round there before qualifying for Wimbledon and becoming only the second Pakistani to win a singles match here. A serve-volleyer who was inspired by watching Stefan Edberg and Boris Becker at Wimbledon, he cheerfully says he’s living a dream and will have plenty of family in the stands cheering him on. Aside from the myriad issues listed above, Safin has lost a little footspeed after having knee injuries and that has prevented him from being the player he once was. But if he’s looking for inspiration, you can’t do better than getting to play Federer in the next round. It’s anyone’s guess whether that will help or hurt Safin in this match. Ah, Marat. Prediction: Safin

Aghhh! I met Dima on Monday, he is as sexy and cheeky as I thought he would be!! He signed an autograph for me and I said spasibo. He looked at me and laughed. He said, "You aren't Russian are you? I mean you don't speak Russian?" I said no and he giggled and said, "well it was a good attempt anyway!!" Then he shook my hands with both hands and winked at me......aww he's so lovely!!
