sad for Richard & Novak ... poor things have got to be exhausted ... but they should be happy for the great tournament they both had ... hopefully they'll heal quickly, get some much needed rest and be ready for the summer hard court swing Vamos Rafa tomorrow!

A real coin toss this one was ...... but Fed again reigns supreme, for the 5th year in a row. Took five sets though -- 76 46 76 26 62 .... props to Rafa for giving him trouble and hanging in there all the way. So close he was -- the trophy'll be his before too long As spectacular as the first three sets were, the fourth set was just plain weird (and both showed that they are, in fact, human ), what with Fed's Hawkeye issues (shots in/out by a hair - even half a hair - incredible ) and Rafa's knee. Got back on track in the fifth set though ... hope Rafa's knee isn't too bad -- he has played a lot this week though, the past month and half even -- he greatly deserves a little break.

So Nadal lost again ::)But he's getting really close after each attempt. If he continues that way I think that he can even surpass Federer in number of Slamsw won :oWhom I think will surpass Samprass ;D Hopefully Marat will prove me wrong and win them all

congrats Fed! though I think rafa deserved to win it as well this year, he realyy improved a lot his game on grass! though i don't think roger played that incredible tennis at all! i think the fact tha he played rafa was psychologically tough for him! and btw: i'm really fed up of that thing fed-rafa! really people you gotta move your asses and beat them! i'm not talking about marat only, but it's kind of boring it's always the same!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I would like to congratulate Rafa with his performance today..... Nushie, spoil your hubby big time ;D ;D (and please, look after his knee, will ya , so be a little gentle with it ) The match was a real tight one, and I was certain that the one who would make the 1st break in the 5th would be the winner.... too bad Rafa couldn't make those break points! And I also want to congrat Fed with his 5th wimby title ...... And as he said in his speech, he was very lucky this time and he's glad he's got this one, cause the way Rafa is improving on all other surfaces, he's not so sure about a next one!

Maestro, you are a genius. Wish I could stop blubbing. I always get like this on the last day of Wimbles. Superb match - and a shame that there has to be a loser. I don't think Rafa has long to wait though. I started blubbing before the match when they had Borg, Connors and McEnroe together - sigh. Much as I love watching Maestro play, I really didn't want Borg's record to go. Oh well, Maestro's equalled it - and Borg didn't seem too bothered (he was so sweet when he went to see Maestro after the match and gave him a hug). Just don't break it Meastro! Big Yin, get in there and stop him next year! It was a great match to watch. Both of them gave it everything they had - and it was sweet to see that both of them were pretty nervous in the match. Overall, they both played brilliantly and served up a treat after such a horrible fortnight. Good to see the sun shine on both finals days. Maestro is a great champion. Well done. ;D Hawkeye certainly arsed up today. Even Maestro swore - he said 'shit' on that very dodgy call before arguing with the umpire. The ball WAS clearly out. The commentators apologised on air for him. Shock horror. You are human, oh great one. ;D And you were right! Oh dear, it's not infallible after all. Cyclops mark 2 here we come ... Great to see Jaime Murray and Jelena Jankovic lift the mixed doubles title tonight . Brilliant match. Hope Jelena kept her promise and covered him in kisses! Finally, the little round up at the end of the broadcast. Ten highlights of Wimbles. Good to see the Big Yin show how a racquet SHOULD be thrown. Everyody else is such an amateur in this key tactical area ... ;D Roll on American hard court season ... ;D Back to reality tomorrow .. ie, work. Groan.

First of all I wanna congratulate Roger for his 5th Wimbledon title!!! Well done Roggi!!! ;D ;D I didn't watched it live, but I record it ... Or at least I thought I had ... Until I realized I had recorded Eurosport all the way and not Sport TV1!!! Thank God they're gonna show it here at least one more time!!!

Luck is always on the side of true champions I bow down to Maestro 5 in a row....that hasn't happened for a while ;D Congrats Roger However I must say that this tournament was one of the biggest flops I have seen in a long long time. Wimbledon organizers should seriously consider doing something about it...it's unhuman to the players to have to put up with everything they had to put up with... and the most important part of it is that players didn't get equal treatment at all. I mean I know it's not Roger's fault he had a 6 day rest and it's not Rafa's fault his match against Soderling lasted for 9 hours 10 minutes spread over 3 days. But come on!!!!!! I am sure we might have had some surprises had Gasquet and Djokovich been more rested for the semis Ah well.... Well done to everyone for their great performance!!! Thank you Marat for the third set against Roger, thank you Kolya for reaching the 4th round ;D, thank you Bartoli for making the ladies side less predictable and thanks Roger for winning the damn thing. Otherwise I would have given up for good LOL ;D

It was a bit of a shocker. Whoever made the decision not to play on the Sunday...... As for the final I tried and tried to stay awake, but at 2 sets to Rog the nods got the best of me. I woke up to see Rafa had the third, but again it got the better of me. Then I woke up and he had the fourth, so I struggled and struggled to stay awake and Rafa lost. Nothing against Roger, I just thought it would amp up the rivalry a bit if Rafa was to win. He didn't but I think he is close. Maybe next year!

Great final, they both gave their best, showed how bad they wanted it and left us in suspense through the whole match These are the kind of finals I like to see! Congrats to Rafa for the hard fight!!! He is getting closer! And congrats to Roger for the 5th title.Very well done!!! kisses p.s. I also liked to see Carlos Ramos umpiring ;D while I wait for my teeny tiny PT juniors to grow and maybe make a name for themselves it's nice to see my country represented in such a cool way
