No Annie you still have to time to sus out the stadium, get chummy with security. Are there any volunteer jobs going or something. Or how are your pickpocketing skills?...not that i promote violence or any form of criminal activity...you may need to snatch an accredited pass (you didn't hear it from me). it would be like an adventure and that should put an awesome spin to your birthday! chin up hun i'm sure the stars will align and you will find yourself behind the scenes

I feel your pain, the ones in miami are the same, if u wanna a VIP u have to earn the salary of a stripper! like 500 usd for the morning session, wth? and if u wanna volunteer u have to be a freacking slave ....I will try to do the same of last year, be friendly with security and see what I can get... BTW if hes comming here and going direclty over there after miami, I should give him ur b-day pressie, that way we both have an excuse, I'm sure hes better that the postal office... "hey marat, here's a present for the fan u put in ur blog, shes going to see u in dc, can u give it to her for me, no illegal stuff here you know, oh and a kiss to " thats not a bad idea ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Davydenko, Youzhny back in Russia Posted: Monday March 12, 2007 10:27AM MOSCOW (Reuters) -- Davis Cup champion Russia has recalled Nikolay Davydenko and Mikhail Youzhny for next month's quarterfinal against France in Moscow. Russia captain Shamil Tarpishchev, who rested world No. 4 Davydenko and 17th-ranked Youzhny for the first round tie in Chile, also included Marat Safin and Igor Andreev for the April 6-8 clash on clay at the Luzhniki indoor arena. It will be the third quarterfinal encounter between the two nations in Davis Cup in the last three years. Russia won both previous quarter-finals as well as the 2002 final in Paris. Davydenko and Youzhny have done well against the French opponents in the past. Youzhny was the hero in 2002 when he beat Paul-Henri Mathieu in the deciding rubber to clinch Russia its first Davis Cup title, while Davydenko guided it to a 4-1 victory in 2006. With both Davydenko and Youzhny missing last month's clash against Chile, Andreev emerged as an unlikely hero for Russia, winning both his singles matches on clay to lead the team to a 3-2 victory over the South Americans. "Now, we have all our top players available, which is good news," said Tarpishchev, who also named world No. 21 Dmitry Tursunov and teenager Evgeny Korolev as alternates. sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/tennis/03/12/bc.tennis.davis.russia.squad/index.html

too true ... just listing their names - Davydenko, Youzhny, Safin, Andreev - demands some serious respect ;D (and having Tursunov & Korolev as alternates doesn't hurt) it's the definition of a serious impressive team
