Completely agree with you!! He really needs some help but the question is: does he really want some hepl? How many time we've told him that? And he seems to do nothing  I hounestly don't think he'll listen to us, Maybe he'll listen to Annie  And I really think that a mental coach would be good for Marat..... but he'll never do that... too stubborn for it to admit he need it! Maybe Sasha can take some mental coach classes without Marat noticing it and then slightly giving him advises from it ;D |

But as you said not only he's too stubborn, but he's also too proud!!! I really think that Sasha is good for him, but only temporarily!! He needs someone all the time for now |

but your brain man..we need to do something about that...  Like find it, you mean? Look, I am not even gonna say anything about this match becasue I think it's more or less been said. The fact of the matter is there is nothing that any of us can do, except for keep supporting him. This is his head, his tennis and his life and what he makes of it is ultimately up to him. I mean mental coach for athletes is a real and tough job but it can work if the guy (our little oaf) reall wants to try and is open minded... I'm a bit worried that Marat would say something like "why would i need that stuff ? Am i looking like a dummy ?" And maybe that could be the moment to show him that damned match so he can answer himslef... Pfff i guess everybody is trying to help that guy, that's scared me is that nobody is finding an answer, neither Marat himself... |

ok i agree with all of you guys!he need help definitely!but he doesn't want it!i think himself doesn't wanna believe and understand that he need psychological help!isn't he the one who thinks that therapeust are a waist of maney and you just seat nex to them talk and find solutions by yourself!he surely thinks it's a cra... stuff!so who do ya think can help him understand it!?
in an other hand i firmly believe that he's gonna achieve smthg special this year on clay!i really prefer to see him blow it all awy like this in the next ones too than to see him blowing RG!coz it's the year or never to do it!and i'm sure it's his main goal this year especially considering the f...... last year first round and the year before and the one before till 2002 too much wasting there it's time to fix things!

I'm beginning to feel scared  I'ts not him loosing, it's how he looses. I think he panics. Why I don't know since he has everything to win against everyone, but he just does. And that's what tears my heart appart... I suppose he is kicking himself right now and digging an even bigger whole in his head and that's frightening!!! Psyco coaching/new coach whatever helps will be fine for me. I just hope he finds a solution in his mind. Marat I don't care if you're 1, 20 or 200 in the ranks, but please don't torture yourself like this (and us). Just breathe... in, out... Don't listen to the voices in our head and play point by point. Sorry guys, I needed to unwind a bit  |

and yes bia we can't do nothing but support this stubborn and proud boy!at least he's having us and will never ever lose us!no?! i think it'll be kind of depressing for him now to hear and read the press again they won't let him in peace and i firmly think they're a part of his problem!

I just hope that this loss won't discourage him I hope this loss is going to make him so angry that he'll come determined for the next tournament... It's the only way... Getting depressed and pitying would be lost time and he hasn't any time to lose anymore; Just time to be a big boy, to face himself and decide what he really wants : if it's playing tennis and winning, then at work my friend and seriously... But as he was so close, i hope he's going to accept this "accident" and stay motivated, it's not like last year where is game was nowhere... Today his game is here... He just needs to adjust the brain and the game... |
