37% 1sh serve in the third set! And he still managed to win 6-2! Great win, Maratik! He was fighting, converted BP ;D and saved so many on his serve! Keep it up!

From the Monte Carlo Masters site: Safin Sinks Finn to Reach Second RoundMarat Safin moved closer to a potential third-round showdown with two-time defending champion Rafael Nadal with a come-from-behind victory over Finland's Jarkko Nieminen on Day 1 of Masters Series Monte-Carlo Sunday. Safin rallied from a set down to oust the 15th seed 5-7, 6-3, 6-2, saving seven of 10 break points he faced in the match. The Russian next plays the winner of Kristof Vliegen and Paul-Henri Mathieu. Safin is chasing his first title since the 2005 Australian Open. He improved to a 10-7 career record in Monte-Carlo, where in 2004 he reached the semifinals.

Well done big yin. ;D Nice to see you get a win like this. Keep it up! Need to watch that first serve percentage though ... hey, like this is news to you. A low first serve percentage and you still won. Think how quickly you could get off court when that first serve goes in and you play it safe ... Keep the heid ... Are you still getting in to the net in practice for Wimbles? ;D Practice more mid-court and net shots ... erse off the baseline over the next few months. ;D
