Btw Safinbgfan, don't worry about Marat losing today. I mean in 05 he didn't win a match at Hopman as i recall, and look at how that ended up  I really hope he`ll end up like 05 |

Jings. I'm finally going to see Borg play on grass. 21 years after he lost to Mac at Wimbles. He never set foot on grass again ... and I didn't set foot in Wimbles until 86 so I never got to see him play. Sniff. My heid was obviously completely wasted yesterday with the excitement. It's 21 years since I first set foot in Wimbles obviously. Borg hasn't been back since 81 when Mac beat him and stopped him getting the 6 Wimbles titles. Think my mates are right. Remember to breathe.  Everybody just said 'Yeah. That's nice.' when I said I was going to see Borg play. They don't get it.  By the way, Marat has said he'll play on the seniors tour to keep fit. There you go girls, you'll still be able to see the boy! ;D |

I can't believe I'm actually posting this. I most be losing my mind. If I read my livescore window right, Andy, yes Andy Roddick, just beat Federer  . 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. Oh, my God! I'm hyperventilating over here! Andy won! Andy won! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  I can now die peacefully. I have officially seen everything.  But I mean it's not like we didn't see this coming. He nearly pulled it off in Shanghai so well done Hot Rod. Just don't think you can pull that kind of trick against Marat, I will not be pleased (sorry addie, nothing personal ) Btw Safinbgfan, don't worry about Marat losing today. I mean in 05 he didn't win a match at Hopman as i recall, and look at how that ended up Andy R was in amazing form. That first set , Roger was a bit shellshocked. He definitely deserved the win. As for Andy M, ok, maryb will probably shoot me for saying this, but I always thought he was one of those players that through a few wins and 'luck' had got to where he is. BUT, I now take that back, he has a great serve for someone his size [compare his stature to some of the other guys out there], amazing forehand/backhand off the baseline, although, he could come to the net a bit more, but a great overall game. You can really see the European [Spanish/clay] influence on his game.
