6/4 6/0 6/2 Roger Federer beat Andy Roddick ... NO COMMENT Just finished watching this match.....sigh.....nothing special, just as I had expected....Rod couldn't do anything to stop Roger, though I was cheering for Andy hoping he could at least take one set..... While watching the match, I really couldn't help but think that had it been Marat who played against Roger, it would've definitely been another close and thrilling match!!!!! Looking forward to Marat's future performance!! more surprises!!

justsafin i was just telling my friend the same thing! i was so prepared for a nail biting match and i ended up yelling at roddick to do something in the second and third set. would be interesting to see what he has to say for himself. as for marat, i was just saying to my tennis buddy that i strongly believe had it been our beloved playing we would have had a cracker of a match. oh well....

I must say,I'm amazed at some of the things people have been writing about the Fed - Roddick match.
I mean, I know it wasn't much of a contest, but come on guys surely you can appreciate what a great performance it was by Federer. The fact is Fed would've destroyed anyone on todays performance, even our beloved one, Marat. Roddick did his best but there was nothing he could do.
It was a privilege to watch a master of his craft playing to the top his ability. Simply awesome.

I didn't watch the match, but I was surprised when I saw the score. After what Andy showed us in the previous rounds, I expected a tougher match.
But, if Fed was genious (oops...redundancy), Andy couldn't have done much...

But, if Fed was genious (oops...redundancy), ;D LMAO....*claps* very good line.. and a good point as well. If Fed played as amazing as everyone is saying he did ( I haven't seen the match yet) then fair play to him and tough luck for Andy. The fact of the matter is (and it pains me to say this) when Fed is on top of his game...there simply are not too many people that can live with him. *shrug* This was one of those times.

Well OMG, I think a lot of people were thinking the same thing about Rafael Nadal's quarterfinal match....Didn't do much better touchy addie, rafa had a injuiry and played better Always next year Considering the way Rafa has played for the past six months, you can't always defend his losses by saying he has an "injury". It seems to me he was just fine during the other matches before the quarters.... Weird injury to come and go like that at the most opportune times.
