I just checked the latest rankings and Marat rose 9 places to 63. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area!

This tournament isn't good for big names: The No. 1, 2, 6 and 8 seeds are already out after the first round  . Only Djokovic survived so far and I guess Gasquet will follow in a few minutes. All this should play to Marat's advantage but we'll see. My (rational) favorites for the title so far are Richard and Fernando Verdasco, who is always underrated. But of course I would prefer Mr. Safin to them all...  |
