Sigh.
J. Melzer def. M. Safin: 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(5). I hate you, Marat Safin.

Losing to Jürgen Melzer? What's wrong with the guy? That's how he rewards my staying up? I'm gonna cancel my flight to Moscow in protest (okay, just kidding Annie!!!!!!!!!!! ). Talk to you all in a week, take care.

I'm so fed up, disgusted, pissed off, everything ! I have enough to have to watch him losing all those close matches by playing so poorly the important points ! Really Marat, next time wait to be at least in the semi finals to tell everybody you're here to win the tournament... Okay now it's official : i'm upset and mad at him... Tomorrow for sure i'll be more nice with him but now too much is too much really !

Don't listen to ebible, Marat! I still love you.. ha ha And don't listen to cathy3 either. Sorry but I found this loss to be very bad. He really bailed in the second set... Right now, I'm mad. I'll still support him though, just not right now. (enter calm intervention...) I'll probably forget about this tomorrow. ;D

I really i'm fed up that week after week after week it's turning into "if he had taken all the opportunities he got..." Yes, problem is : our guy doesn't know anymore how to win a close match without oafing... The loss is not the worst because he's obviously tired and everything but the way of the loss is really hard to take because it's the same story basically since the start of this season... He makes us hope past feww weeks but truth is coming back here in Metz... Hoping he'll do great in Russia for the next tournament...

Nadal, Nalbandian, Santoro, O. Rochus and he'll win them all. He's really determined...just don't give him any names below top 50 20.

Tomorrow for sure i'll be more nice with him but now too much is too much really ! Listen doll, I understand why you would be "disgusted" and "pissed off", but this Marat Safin here. This isn't Roger Federer where he wins everything and you can always rely on him; this is Marat Safin. He has ups and downs (and yes, I'll admit, more than other players), but he is still a human being and not a robot. And that's why we love him. He has personality, charisma, and a backhand that could knock someone's head off. I'm tired of you coming on this board everytime he loses and tearing him to shreads. If you were real Safin fan, you'd be beside him no matter what kind of result (even stupid results) he makes. I know this isn't the nicest way of handling this, but I stand up for what I believe in and that's Marat. So take your negativity and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Bloody hell, it was just a game, so what he lost, he's marat for cryin out loud the most unpredictable guy in the tennis world. If i was mad everytime he could have won that game and he didnt, OMG, i would be the most miserable person in the world. Sorry people, but give the guy a break, he only human, not SUPER TENNIS WINNING MAN.
